"There are not any; and if there are it’s usually run by the city and a much larger event than just the neighborhood "

"not bad but I also don't work in the city 8 work in scarborough so the commute isn't really a plus for my situation. "

"I’ve lived downtown for 2+ years and love it. You can walk out of your apartment for a late night slice, an early morning coffee, and everything you need is within a few blocks. "

"There's a park within walking distance but it is not off leash. The fire department is close by so if your dog is nervous it's something to consider."

"Lots of walkable areas with good lighting at night. Limited green space downtown for doggy business. I don't feel comfortable leaving my dog outside alone while running into grab something. "

"This is an awesome location. It's less than a 10 minute commute (by foot) to my office in the old port, with plenty of place to stop on the way for coffee, noshing, or other essentials. There are at least 5 great restaurants within a 100 foot radius, and MECA is almost directly across the street."

"We LOVE it here. You have theater and art surrounding you, as well as Old Port right down the block. We feel very safe here -- there are some loud 18 year olds once in a while (Friday & Saturday night) but it's not horrible. The ambulance is louder! I wouldn't trade living here for the more open areas of East or West Ends. I like to be where the action is :)"
