"The Park hosts all kinds of events, from a 3 day bluegrass music festival at the outdoor amphitheatre to a reptile and amphibian day at the conservatory greenhouse to movies and beer at the sunken gardens. Plus, swimming at the pool, art classes at the art center, and gardening events at the gardens. And a library! Garfield Park is a great place to live so close to downtown."

"I've lived in this neighborhood my whole life. Can't imagine living anywhere else. It has a small town feel, even though it's in the middle of the city. I love that with in a 5 minute drive I can be down town or Fountain sqaure, but our house is much more affordable. "
