Hillsborough, NC: small-town ease, artsy pulse, trails, and quick hops to Chapel Hill & Durham. People like walkable downtown, parks and trails, pet-friendly vibe, and easy commutes. They dislike limited nightlife, few eateries in parts, and rising traffic at peaks.

"We've lived in Churton Grove for 6+ years. It's a family friendly neighborhood with a pool, 2 playgrounds, walking trails and tennis/ basketball courts. It has an unofficial active Nextdoor website where neighbors communicate. It has a shopping plaza adjacent with a few food places, a grocery store and a gas station nearby. It is a short drive to the elementary, middle and high schools. There are also multiple social events for those interested. I would highly recommend Churton Grove!"
