  • Nathan M.
"Colchester has a few parts to it. Mallets bay, there is Colechester village there is porters point neighborhood, there is the neighborhood of Depot Road, and others. Each has a slightly different flavor and amenities."
  • Tinecafoy16
"My neighborhood has great people great stores and great location for parks. We love the schools around colchester "
  • Friendly
"I lived here for 3 years and love it here everyone is friendly and convenient for walking to stores "
  • Guruloza
"Living in valley field area. There is no side walk in Malletts bay ave from Winooski to Sam Mazzs farm or towards bayside. Very danger to walk beside the Malletts bay ave"
  • Hguariglia
"It’s a family friendly area, close enough to the city, yet remote enough to have peace and quiet of the country."
  • Brandyspaulding01
"It has interesting yet annoying people. You're most likely going to love 50% of the people and hate the other 50%. "
  • Tmartin476
"It’s beautiful although living on the main stretch it can be loud and difficult to get out of our house in the morning to go to work."
  • Clarke j.
"I lived in this neighborhood as a teen and chose to move back as an adult with my own family. This street has private lake access, is on the beautiful community bike path and is walking distance to schools grades 3-12 as well as several parks. Homes were built before the boom of vinyl "McMansions" and are unique from each other. Great place to live."
  • Greg
"With 89 in one direction, 7 North to the Islands and Plattsburgh in another, and Essex and Williston in yet another, this is a perfect place for someone to live away from the hustle of the Burlington area, yet still be close to almost anywhere in Northwestern VT. There are parks, libraries, schools, grocery stores, etc. within 5-10 minutes, and the lake is 10-15 away. You can't really walk to the store, but you can jog around the new walking paths that keep popping up. My wife, daughter and I have enjoyed these paths when visiting friends in the area. Our favorite part is that fact this area is right near Colchester Village (where our daughter could go to elementary school), or the factories/businesses on Susie Wilson Road (where I work) while still being across the street from a wide open farm with a view of the mountains in the backyard."
  • Eileen W.
"Perrenial gardens greet one when entering the quiet cul-de-sac of Evergreen Circle. This home is the perfect place for someone not looking at a large home but doesn't want to share walls as in a condo. Cute cottage-style homes with owners who care. Great updated kitchen. Nice hardwood floors. Comfortable master with bath and 2nd bathroom. Finished lower level with large laundry room, large recreation room and two other rooms for storage and/or guests. Easy access to town amenities, UVM and Fletcher Allen hospital. Don't miss this one."
