Review Highlights

En inglés
Brookfield mixes small-town calm with easy living—leafy blocks, zoo, quick Metra to Chicago. Residents love the safe, family vibe, strong schools, parks and events, and easy transit and driving. Gripes include speeding on some streets, rising prices, some noise, flooding, and limited retail.

"My neighborhood is great, it’s friendly, and nice. But it all depends where u live, and/or on which side of brookfield. Also most of the schools are horrible, and the children are very rude. I live on a ok street except we are the corner house and there is a truck company right next to us. So it gets loud at times. Our neighbor in the back plays loud music and shoots fireworks at night when we try to sleep, but the parks are well maintained, and nice."
  • Steffany1980

  • Jessica W.
