"It’s pretty dog friendly and the canal is close. While there are a lot of folks who walk their dogs it manages to be quiet and respectful on most walks."

"There are a few hiking spots close by, there is a nice running trail that runs alongside the canal and Camelback Rd. Southwest Human Development makes its home here supporting early childhood for much of Maricopa County. There’s no shortage of businesses around here. This area borders the more well to do Arcadia and Biltmore neighborhoods as well as the more decidedly homeless and drugee scene that runs South of Thomas Rd. It’s a typical Phoenix neighborhood otherwise."

"We have bus route on 12th st and on E camelback rd. I drive to my job. The 51 highway is also near.."

"Dogs are everywhere and most people are good dog owners. Every once in a while, someone will have their dog off leash that is not well-trained enough. But it’s rare. Also, at times there are coyotes about. Most of the time they run. Away from people, but I imagine owners with small dogs might feel a bit nervous to see one. "

"I don't know of any. I like the area because of the shopping. if people would clean up behind themselves and it might be a better area."
