"There is little to no traffic in the morning and the drive to the interstate is short and sweet. There's a back way to Trussville/Moody. "

"Need stricter speed enforcement in residential area by food giant / Frisco Ace. People run stop signs and drift / race all the time."

"The school system is good and the teachers go out of their way. The downtown area is improving and there is a great little bar. "

"My commute is 30 mins, often hindered by trains and school traffic. Not the best. Convenience to shopping is great though. If you work in Birmingham you have to leave extra early to make sure you get where you’re going on time. "

"There are residents of all ages and it is very safe and the people are nice and keep there houses in good repair and nice lawns. It is reasonably priced and is a nice neighborhood of all races and ages to live. There are nice parks and shopping for essentials is convenient. It is safe to walk my dogs at night even downtown it also has dog friendly places that I can take my dogs with me to have a beer and listen to live music with confidence of being safe. It is a family oriented community but it is not the best place to live if you haven’t any family or longtime friends here. It is a difficult place to make friends If you are single and not from here and retired."

"Do not move to Southern Trace. Residents to not care about speeding. The neighborhood is treated like a drag strip. Bad area for families with kids."

"I live in Cahaba Hills, we are next to new Grand River Mall, one block from multi-million dollar new school system (Leeds own), near new park, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to Bass Pro Shop and Barber Motorsports Park. Area is growing quick. Easy access to Hwy 119 to 280 or straight to 459 and I20."

"I have been a home owner in Leeds since 1979. It is a quiet town with great new schools. The sports programs offered are very good in the schools as well as little league. Getting to downtown or 280 only takes about 20 minutes. There is a new shopping mall, Bass Pro Shop and plenty of restaurants. The city has two excellent parks for children. Plus, one park has a mile or 1/2 mile walking track. The Civic Center offers a place to work. There are other gyms to joins as well. It is a great place for families because The Leeds schools are no longer a part of the Jefferson Co School system. It is now called Leeds City because they pulled out of Jefferson Co and built a new middle school and high school. The football team won state two years in a row. Plus, the basketball team also took state in 2010. Leeds is only about 125 miles to Atlanta and I-20 runs within a couple of miles of anywhere in the town. Interstate 459 is just a few miles away where it connects to I-65 as well as I-59. Downtown thrives and has plenty of businesses for people to shop. We even have a great hardware store where the employees will help you with all of you questions. I can't praise Leeds enough."
