  • Basma Nasrallah
"It just feels like a quiet area where you can be away from city noise but is still close enough to places to go out and enjoy"
  • Lds11188
"I’ve lived here 5 years and love everything but the traffic lights. The timing is terrible but the schools are great for my kids and most things I need are easily accessible."
  • Trulia User
"I was born and raised in goose creek. I’ve lived in multiple other areas of the low country and always choose to return to living here. It’s so quiet and has a lot of great places to eat, and good schools (minus sedgefield). This place is home and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet family friendly town just 30 minutes to downtown Charleston "
  • Jeniefer Holsinger
"25 minutes for every 10 miles without extra traffic. Busy times are tough when trains are hauling goods "
  • Wt8w4rt2m7
"I live by the Navy Weapons Station and there’s nothing to do. Although it has business the area could use a facelift and add a few more family friendly entertainment. "
  • Smokeymou
"Without your own car is impossible to get around specially in heat of summer. Would be great if public transportation can be accessible. "
  • Lds11188
"The city host many family oriented events and building an amphitheater for even more event. The recreation facilities are nice as well."
  • Shauntelbailey
"Great neighborhood and quiet . Love the way the neighborhood stays clean and everyone is neighborly "
  • David M.
"I have a short commute, but the traffic in the area is pretty bad, so it takes about 15 minutes to go a few miles"
  • Letitiahaynes2013
"Safe, friendly neighborhood. Good schools and churches near by, police and fire department really close. Grocery stores and restaurants are close too. Really great place to live and raise a family. "
  • Kayla D.
"I lived here for years neighbors are friendly and it’s quite yards are kept clean (only on my street) but pricing for houses in this neighborhood be high and the house doesn’t even be big "
  • Letitiahaynes2013
"Friendly neighborhood and family oriented, kids are always pleasant and playing, adults are neighborly and nice"
  • Lilbitlowco
"I've been here 3 yrs and love the schools. Everything is close, easy to get to and friendly. It's constantly growing and offers a lot of variety."
  • Kendramitchell14
"What makes the community a special neighborhood is the neighbors are very friendly. Trick or treat even feel safe "
  • Kristi S.
"There are a few neighborhoods I'd live in within goose Creek, but for kids, the schools are the best in Crowfield/Pineview/Ryan's Creek/Camelot neighborhoods. The prices to buy and rent reflect that though. Crowfield is a fantastic area to raise kids, with trails, parks, pools, sidewalks, and fishing, golf course, well maintained properties, and a wide range of types and prices, it's the best of goose Creek. The traffic in GC is getting pretty bad though, but it's because of the increased convenience all the new restaurants, stores, medical and business offices. "
  • Arika M.
"I love the community! Goose Creek is a city with a small town feel. There is a great community center, police department and fire department. The crime is low."
  • Elizabeth A. D. M.
"Horrendous... it used to take 30-45 min to get downtown in the am to work now it takes over an hour some days"
  • Cosmosgal2010
"There is nothing not to like and they are putting in a dog park very soon There are always friendly people walking their dogs "
  • Lakenya M.
"School are good and quite place. Come to see and find how wonderful this place is. There no pool and no park."
  • Maureen J.
"I drive 11 miles to Summerville. it takes me 30 minutes. most days use surface streets. Stop and go traffic. "
  • Anika Nelson
"Home essentials are within walking distance. Grocery shopping and laundromat for example. If you have a car you have easy access to 52, 78, 26, and 526 within minutes."
  • Marcos C. .
"This place is amazing, neighbors are friendly and nice all the time , and I feel safe living in the neighborhood "
  • Jessica M.
"Dog owner friendly. On the rare occasion a pet goes missing the community really comes together in search. "
  • Lklodowski
"Not much. Crowfield is highly over rated. People aren’t really friendly and cats are allowed to run free throughout unleashed using everyone’s yard for their bathroom. There are many ferrel cats. "
  • Wjones576
"Crowfield plantation is a wonderful place to live. there are parks, pools, a lake to fish, and an awesome golf course. There are schools so close that kids can ride their bikes to get exercise."
  • LindaG
"Probably that apparently allowed to roam free, even ferrel cats. Leash law is not enforced for cats, nor is number of cats one household can have. They can roam free and use anyone’s yard as their bathroom."
  • Matt
"Forth of July fireworks, Taste of Goose Creek, Crowfieldfest, Car Shows at Sonic, Stratford High School football games"
  • Mahkiyyah S.
"People walk their dogs all the time and everyone is pretty friendly with their dogs. They even have a dog park for the dogs to run around and play off their leashes. They have multiple areas for the dogs to do their duty and clean up stations with bags always available. If an individual doesn’t clean up after their dog then they do DNA testing on the droppings and charge the owner, so the areas stay clean."
  • Tonya M.
"Things for church & Halloween, cook out, there are alot of things going on in the neighbourhood. We love this neighborhood,it's really quite around here, nice & peaceful."
  • Lklodowski
"Crowfield Plantation. Lots of trails, etc. There are lots of different breeds and if a dog escapes, neighbors are usually willing to assist in locating its owners and returning the animal, also with “fostering” until it is returned home."
  • Kweadie
"I have lived here for 21 years, the primary, elementary and middle schools are just one street over from the house."
  • Bkrockhill56
"everyone normally participates in Halloween by wearing customes, lots of neighbors have candy for children. my neighbor had a scary house set up for fun."
