    "It's a beautiful area and well maintained. You are "in the city" but get that "countryside" feel. I feel super safe here and it's a great place to raise a family. Everything you need is nearby but without all the hustle & bustle and without so much crime. I do wish that there were a few more time windows for bus transit's BUT the upside of there not being a constant line of buses is that it is what helps the city be so safe in MY OPINION. Independence is a fabulous place to call home."

I am a young adult and I often take night walks around the neighborhood and I have never once felt unsafe. The people are always friendly though people tend to keep to themselves. "

Someone who wants to settle down and wants to experience all four seasons.That being said there’s not many unique homes out here there all cookies cutter homes that focus on design instead of quality functionality and uniqueness.
