I am a current Junior at Grissom High School and I can definitely tell you without bias that it is the best high school in the area. In spite of multiple reviews, so long as you try to learn teachers will do everything in their power to put you on the right path. As a student who’s taken all sorts of classes (honors, AP’s, and one regular) I can ensure that the education provided at any level is extraordinary. There are clubs and extracurriculars for everyone and students are bound to be able to find a sense of belonging somewhere. Overall, Grissom is a great school. It has its flaws, but it honestly just makes it more human- nothing can be perfect. If you or your child are going here- they’re in good hands!

We have had nothing but positive experiences at Challenger and with Ms. Joiner leading the team, things have only gotten better. She brings so much love and joy to the school which has trickled down to the teachers, admin and students. We couldn’t ask for a better public school environment!

Zero out of ten. The fourth grade is the worst. They are letting those kids down. They just aren't theaching the quantity or quality of material that they should. If you want an academically successful child, avoid this school.
