"The area is peaceful and encourages you kids to be in nature. There’s a great outdoor, pool time gardening vibe here plus lots of horses, dogs, and wild life "
  • Rose Hughes Dashiell
"Perfect 55+ Plus community. Love all the views the area offers. We also have a nice community center with a lap pool and gym. "
  • Dani Berube
"My neighborhood is great and upcoming. I love living in marana. It’s very quiet and small hometown vibes. With all the new stores coming in, I’m nervous it will drive more traffic, but it is great to have places here to go shopping for something quick if needed !"
  • Gph2srgth2
"Lots of play areas for dogs. Lots of dogs in neighborhood. If you have a dog you will meet a lot of dog honors. Lots of dog clubs."
  • Krystal Ky
"Lots of outdoor activities everyone is out and about with their pets. As for not liking be careful for the wildlife you may loose a pet if not properly watched"
  • Juliabennett
"Quiet, safe, small lot lands and you can hear your neighbors quiet often but all in all a great neighborhood."
  • Gilberto M. J.
"I’ve been in my house since 2005. Pretty quiet, low/no crime. Only 1 set of traffic lights in Gladden Farms."
  • Bow4elk
"Quiet peaceful and tranquil . Went to school here now I love here. Neighbors are friendly and traffic is not bad , roads are maintained nicely"
  • Juliabennett
"Very quiet and safe place, great parks with nice dog park. The people who live in my neighborhood aren’t very friendly."
  • Shannon777marie
"I see a lot of people walking their dogs . it seems like a really animal friendly community and I also know that if a resident in marana has a pet that gets out the local police do their best to find the animals owners before they call the actual dog catcher . "
  • Theprops03
"There are lots of bike trails and the neighborhood has its own elementary school within walking or biking distance. "
  • Jessica S.
"I have a Laing commute being far from the freeway but I love the drive and the Mountain View is so beautiful I appreciate it everyday "
  • Tmauai
"I live in Avra Valley. It’s about 30 min drive to the nearest Walmart. But there are Dollar trees out here. Only satellite internet available out here which is annoying. "
  • KristinL
"we have a really great school district up here, and we're going to be getting a lot of new businesses, restaurants, and a new ER/Hospital built nearby as well! low crime rate, one of the best fire departments in the greater Tucson area, and a good law enforcement agency. "
  • Anna W.
"Well I have had friends live here and would hang out at the beginning of dove mountain. The parks were awesome and I love Heritage Highlands Cafe and I used to ride the golf carts around. Now I'm just staying in the senior community at the end. everyone seems to really like each other and they all have stuff going on at the community center I just kind of keep to myself because I'm only 28. "
  • Larmstrongart
"I've lived in this neighborhood for 3yrs off falcon ln. we moved to continental ranch and we miss it out here, the space, the stars, neighbors keep to themselves, yet friendly. if you go walking everyday I suggest you bright protection. I had many unfriendly dogs out and about on quite a few walks with my young kids, made me nervous. loud dirt vehicles occasionally joy riding and dogs barking at night in distance, we slept with a fan, not too bad. overall we loved it out there! "
  • Hgromero77
"It’s relatively quiet at night and has beautiful night skies. The rare noise at night comes from barking dogs in the neighborhood, but other than that it’s somewhat calm and peaceful."
  • jarm4510
"Community is tight knit and people are beyond expectations helpful but opinions are strong and divided on everything possible and disagreements and calling out episodes are excessive. Rules change frequently and randomly enforced then not at all. Neighbors are hypervigilant watching over what goes on within community which is good when the need is there but a drain and negative when it is over petty issues."
  • Jab1953gab
"Watch and care for children but is relatively a safe place. Very good schools and school activities. Community activities for children of all ages. Lots of playgrounds and play areas. Generally a friendly community. Religious opportunities and activities for the whole family are always active and close at hand. "
  • Theunicornsmademedoit
"Nothing. It’s quiet but lots of cops drive around daily. There’s nothing to do around here and you have to drive everywhere "
  • Janetrhartwell
"There are many dog owners And we have two dog parks where dogs and dog owners can socialize. I take my dogs most every morning!"
  • Edralin e. w.
"A safe community, safe place to walk, run and has great access to the stores, restaurant, park and school. 😊 We enjoy and see still wild animals, owl in the backyard. "
  • Jab1953gab
"I drive everywhere.there is no public transportation where I live. Even walking is a long distance to get to anywhere. So the only choice that is convenient is to drive."
