4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDisappointed in Ptarmigan Ridge. State test scores are never sent home, little to no communication from teachers in the higher grade levels- it’s as if they don’t want families to see just how this school is failing their children. There is a lack of discipline from administrators so repeat problematic behaviors are never punished nor corrected. Reward charts are given for those with problematic behaviors and there is never any recognition for students who actually do what is expected of them. Staff kids are treated with privileges, even if they have disruptive behaviors. This school is overcrowded. Students can get away with a lot because resources are stretched thin. You can tell the teachers are burnt out and the school year has only just begun. Kids can’t use the bathrooms during the day because they are unclean and unsanitary. The lunchroom is loud and students don’t have any time to eat. If you have an option to choose a different school, do it. Students fall behind because their entire day is FILLED with disruptive behaviors from others. Admin doesn’t care.Parent Review5mo ago

"Driving to and from work in moderate traffic. This neighborhood is near Middle & High schools, roads can get congested on certain days at certain times. "

"Most decent jobs are going to be 20 miles North or South from Bonney Lake. Both directions to major cities have long commutes if you work a regular 7am-3pm job. The only way to avoid commutes is to work in Bonney Lake or work night shifts. We’re looking at relocating because the commute is so long."

"I’ve lived in Bonney Lake a little over a year now. It’s a pretty friendly town. You still people on the corners with help me signs. I believe that’ll be wherever you reside. As long as you like to be near the mountains and nature, Bonney lake is a good place for you. I have a child and two German Shepard’s and it seems that they like living here as well. "
