Orting Middle School

We love this community and the staff at Orting Elementary are a huge part of it.

The staff are helpful and nice. They communicate well and update you on your children's progress. The current principal is Ms. Diamond and she's been great with being upfront and accountable and when my daughter had accidental exposure to her allergen she sat with her until my partner could pick her up and while an emt checked her out. She is showing improvement with her reading, writing, math, and art, every year.

We’ve had an exceptional experience at this school from day one. The teachers — from music and art to the core classroom educators — have been consistently supportive, caring, and invested in student success. Many hold master’s degrees and board certifications, exceeding what’s typical in nearby districts, which speaks volumes about their dedication and expertise.The administration and PTA do an excellent job communicating about events and opportunities, and parent involvement was obvious right from “Back to School Night.” You really feel welcomed as part of a team working together for the kids.If you’re reading reviews because you want your children to have a great school experience, my advice is: get involved. A strong partnership between families and schools benefits everyone. Research shows kids who thrive — both in school and in life — have parents who are present and engaged in their sports, studies, and daily growth.This is not just a great school; it’s a great community. We feel lucky to be part of it.

We have had a wonderful experience thus far with the staff and other students and their families at this school. This school is conveniently located in our neighborhood of Tehaleh. We have felt supported by the teachers and staff through the last two years our daughter has attended DEE. It has been such a great educational experience for our daughter thus far. The PTA is fantastic here as well so parent involvement seems to be very high which I think has also contributed to the overall success of the student body at this school.

I can’t say ENOUGH good things about this school and its entire staff! We absolutely love the attention the kids get and how they are made special each day. The teachers all remember them by name and genuinely care about them. We couldn’t be happier with this school.
