Description
The Brandywine is Reybold's 34' interior townhome at Columbia Place and just as the surrounding region and battlefields, the home design has a story to tell.
Brandywine townhomes are crafted with the same attention to French Country architecture as the other homes in this planned community with decorative copper features and stone exteriors. Standard features (included in the base price) include 10' ceilings on the first floor outfitted with stunning 8' doors, and 9' basement and second-floor ceilings. Also standard is a gourmet kitchen with Grabill cabinets, quartz or granite countertops and stainless steel Bosch appliances. Ask about the array of options new homeowners can select as upgrades (final pricing after the buyer has made final selections).
This gated community offers low to no maintenance living -- ask for details -- and a centralized clubhouse where neighbors can gather and indulge in fellowship. Give us a call today: we will happily schedule a live-virtual meeting and a tour!
Please note: the base price does not include the new homeowner's final selections and option pricing. Call the sales center for a live-virtual tour and pricing information. Appointments are recommended. Pricing is subject to change without notice.

Community Description
Columbia Place is an active adult new home community located in the Talleyville area of Wilmington, Delaware. The site is nearly 15 acres and will have a mix of home styles to fit a variety of tastes. The 17 single family homes stretch across the western side of the site and wrap around to the south. Two condominium buildings form a border to the east of the property while the townhomes fill in the core of the community.
For more than two decades, Reybold has focused on building homes and communities to fit a modern lifestyle. Columbia Place is our latest project specifically for active adults. The homes feature open floor plans, first-floor owner suites, top-end materials and more, all in a location central to many local, area and regional hot spots.
This gated community offers low maintenance living -- ask for details -- and a centralized clubhouse where neighbors can gather and indulge in fellowship. At the clubhouse, residents will enjoy a fitness center, library, club room, commercial kitchen and outdoor community area with firepit. The HOA is anticipated to host events and manage clubhouse reservations.
The location of Columbia Place is perfectly suited for those who travel with Amtrak's Wilmington Station and the Philadelphia International Airport both within a 30 minute drive. Excellent options for walking and exploring are also available with the neighborhood sitting a few hundred yards from a Brandywine Creek State Park trailhead. Columbia Place is located across the street from the Jewish Community Center and just around the corner from the Brandywine YMCA.
Note that published pricing is normally the base price of the home and will likely increase once a new owner makes final selections: pricing is subject to change and without notice.

"Walking in the neighborhood, one meets and gets to know people better on a regular basis. People are also generally keen to make their home fronts and gardens beautiful, not only as a self-service but also as a contribution to the community."

"We do a lot of can drives this time of year for the needy families. Around Christmas we take a collection at the school for non-perishable foods and any toys that can afford to be donated to help give needy the families Christmas dinner and their children a gift under the tree. Just because the family feel down on their luck, children shouldn’t be robbed of the magic of Christmas. "

"The neighborhood is friendly. There is no public transportation in the area and the main is used at a short cut. The main road is pretty busy and no mechanism to slow down traffic. People speed up and down the road. "

"If dogs are not on leashes they would not like that. Also if they’re dog is not properly cared for such as vaccines and treatments. Community would have to feel safe around neighborhood pets."

"I've lived on this block for almost 6 years now. For the most part, it is a quiet block with older residents who are retired, a few younger couples that work and maintain our respectable area. Traffic tends to be challenging due to its relative location in downtown Wilmington, however this is minor compared to the conditions of some areas within a half of a square mile. Neighbors are friendly and we look out for each other."
