    "my commute is easy. 31 miles, 35 minutes. the is one toll which is ridiculous. we pay a toll to commute to NJ, Rockland or to cross the Tsp that is more expensive that the cost of commuting fro. an assess point 1 exit farther away. "

He purchased this land and built his home, then later on a home for his girls, one of them being my mother. I cherish this place and my roots to it."

    "This home is located in the Town of Hamptonburgh in Orange County, NY It does have a Middletown mailing address but it is located miles from the City of Middletown. The nearest municipalities are the Towns of Goshen and Wallkill, and the Village of Goshen. This area of Hamptonburgh is in the Goshen Central School District whose schools are located in the Village of Goshen. There is a High School, Middle School, Intermediate School, and Elementary School. It is also served by a number of parochial schools including the Regional Catholic High School - John Burke - all of which are located in the nearby Village of Goshen. The Orange-Ulster BOCES is based in Goshen also, and SUNY-Orange is located in Middletown. . Health facilities are very close, just minutes away. Orange Regional Hospital is located in the Town of Wallkill, and all medical specialists are located within 10 minutes in the Town of Wallkill at private medical facilities including the nationally know Chrystal Run Heath Care. Hamptonburgh contains the crown jewel of the Orange County Park System - Thomas Bull Park - whose facilities include a golf course, tennis courts, snow tubing hill, horse riding venue, cross country, a small lake with paddle boats, etc. The Town also boasts a semi-private golf and tennis club - Otterkill Country Club - and a private country club and another Public Golf Course in the adjoining Town of Wallkill. The Town of Hamptonburgh has an excellent Town Park located in the Town Seat, Campbell Hall. It includes playing fields, a hiking trail, and a picnic area with food facilities. Both the Town of Hamptonburgh and the Goshen School System offer comprehensive Youth Programs and a scholastic athletic program covering most major sports, and some minor ones too. Orange County's major shopping venue- the Galleria - is located minutes away in the adjoining Town of Hamptonburgh and includes many major stores including Macys, Target, Sears, JC Penneys, and many specialty stores.
