What Locals Say about Masterson

"This area is very clean and taken care of! We are renting the place we are in and have had no issues, as of yet, since October 1st."
  • Amanda B.
"None park’s but no swimming pool unless member which is really expensive! Nice walking paths near by gas station "
  • Jo-ellen F.
"There’s always people waking their dogs and most homes are fenced offering them a private backyard. "
  • Csv2008
"The pros are the fenced yards and (somewhat) maintained sidewalks. People are good about making sure dogs are on leashes. On the neighborhood website I have seen many neighbors help one another when a pet was lost and needed help finding. There is a great dog park in Masterson Station Park where everyone is friendly and conscious about looking out and making sure their dogs are handling the interactions well. The cons- not every house HAS a fence- which I feel is crazy. Not everyone picks up their own dog waste- which makes some people hate all dog owners in general. In contrast to many other places I have lived, there are not many pet waste receptacles. "

"This is a friendly and quiet neighborhood. The park is a beautiful addition to the area. Great for walking biking sports. Occasionally you will see a rider on horseback in the park. Neighbors of all ages live in this neighborhood. "
  • Nick V.
"Kids don’t seem to go outside much! And the schools are hit and miss. Our neighborhood has an Amazing elementary school, but the middle and high schools are rated 2-3. So this is something they really needs to be checked when you buy!! "
  • Littlemisstittle
"It’s a tight knit community and mostly families. Everyone takes pride in the upkeep of their homes. Neighbors look out for one another. It’s a beautiful neighborhood great for families."
  • jraleigh1
"newer elementary school, blooming Bradford pear trees line the streets, community pool, close to interstate."
  • Dtdse6
"Just moved in, friendly neighborhood. Convenient as well, close to downtown . Property values seem to up"
  • Stephen R.
"Friendly people. However there is a bit of petty crime. Lock your car doors and say hello to your neighbors!"
