What Locals Say about Huntcliff

  • Sarah Porter
"The golf course and Chattahoochee river run through the middle of the neighborhood so there is lots of green space and wildlife friendly - you will see giant herds of deer or other wildlife regularly/daily. Neighborhood pool, tennis courts, and stables are also really well kept and easy to access. "
  • Nfairc82
"Beautiful tree lines streets and well maintained houses surrounding 2 golf courses and surrounded by the Chattahoochee River but close to major highways and shopping. "
  • Wes
"There are 4 parks with walking trails within a 5min drive. Forest at Huntcliff backs up to a huge green space forest with a rolling creek that leads to the Chattahoochee River—nobody uses."
  • Jennifer M.
"Love this neighborhood!! Very safe just wish there was better restaurants, shopping and grocery stores near us."
  • resident z
"Great neighborhoods. Fifteen minutes to Buckhead, Roswell, Dunwoody and East Cobb. Easy access to the 400. "
  • Cwroyalwedding
"Multiple entrances/exits are very helpful. The normal rush hour chaos does tend to pool right outside the entrances, but most commuters allow you to enter/exit as needed."
  • Cwroyalwedding
"A significant amount of homes are filled with happy, wagging tails. Main issues: Excessive barking due to inconsiderate neighbors, dead spots/harmed landscaping due to inconsiderate neighbors allowing their dogs to urinate on private properties. Most people pick up poop, but the dog urine harms a lot of yards/flower beds/plants. HOA issues strongly worded letters, but little is achieved according to numerous resident accounts. "
  • kylie O.
"The way the houses are built seem much nicer than others and the family vibe."
  • kylie O.
"Dog owners would like that well-trained dogs are allowed as long as they don't cause any trouble."
  • kylie O.
"A Facebook page is where most things are posted."
  • kylie O.

"Not much really. Marta is always available. Seems safe. Had a slight homeless people problem but no big deal. "
  • Donna A.
"The tranquility is different from any other area I'm aware of."
  • Donna A.
"No sidewalks, a lot of wildlife, including owls, hawks, fox and coyote. Also many other dog owners in the neighborhood. Some side streets off Huntcliff that offer quieter areas for walking."
  • Donna A.
"We commute close to an hour each way, to and from work."
  • Donna A.
"There are good schools close by, a neighborhood pool, tennis courts and riding stables. The majority of homeowners are middle aged and above, and there's a sense of watching out for one another."
  • "Beautiful area with large wooded lots, some over an acre. Heavily wooded and close to the river and National park area. Historic Roswell less than three miles with wonderful restaurants, antique shops, specialty retail, and entertainment. Two large shopping malls less than seven miles (one north and one south). Quick access to GA 400 (less than 3 miles) and rapid transit station less than five miles. Clubhouse facilities including horse stables within the Huntcliff Neighborhood bordering an 18 hole private golf course."
  • "This area is tucked away along the Chattahoochee River corridor with access to 3 major Park and Recreation Areas within 1 mile plus neighborhood amenities, Private Golf Club, convenient shopping, dining and expressway access. Well established neighborhoods make up the community. Some shopping centers being remodeled/updated right now."
