Read what parents are saying about St. Margaret Mary SchoolThe school does not care about children learning shows favoritism and condones bullying by teachers
Posted by a parent on 12/15/2021Academically the school is great.. The teachers actually push the kids to excel.. My baby has been attending since K4 and is currently in 2nd grade.. My daughter comes home with homework that I believe is too advanced for her age but she is also reading at a third grade level and the work doesn't frustrate her.. As a teacher in the MPS, I really value the education my daughter receives because I know the education (or lack of) that the school provides to our children.. Behavior-wise, the school is very good about discipline and reprimanding the kids for inappropriate behavior BUT the school appears to be getting more and more lenient with this. My daughter now complains that the kids at her school are "bad" and the teachers excuse or does handle the matters.. This will be my daughter's last year at the school for that matter.. As a parent, I want my daughter to feel protected everywhere she goes because I don't teach her as a kid to take matters into her own hands.. I hope my perspective of the school help :)
Posted by a parent on 12/24/2015St. Margaret Mary School is truly one of kind. The staff here is absolutely sensational. They will do anything in their power to make sure these kids succeed. This is a Catholic School that truly installs the catholic beliefs and morals to the children. Every kid here is kept to a certain standard that is upheld on a daily basis. This is a fun school but a strict school and if you are truly seeking a private school education this is the place to be! Ryan Krienke the Principal is by far one of the best Principals in the entire archdiocese of Milwaukee. What he has done to this school is outstanding. Come to St. Margaret Mary and you will NOT be disappointed!
Posted by a community member on 9/26/2013I am impressed with the dedicated faculty at St. Margaret Mary School. They work tirelessly to benefit the children. Test scores at the school continue to rise. The energetic young principal is dedicated to the welfare of the children. Problems are handled quickly and fairly. Because it is faith-based, the children learn values that they will use all their lives.
Posted by a community member on 9/18/2012I am pleased I put my second grader back in St. MM! We tried a different school last year for first grade and were not impressed. Too expensive and we were treated like paychecks not people!) St.MM has a new principal that seems eager and hard working. The teachers are great and the education my son receives is excellent. He is happy and so are we! The Home and School association is great and the office lady is phenomenal. Nice, clean, diverse environment. There are bad eggs anywhere you go to school, it is how they are handled that is important and to put it simply St. MM does have enforced rules and good communication with the parents/guardians of its students. We feel at home here and I plan to send my toddler and infant to school at St. MM.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would highly recommend Madison Elementary School! Madison Elementary is the most diverse school in the Wauwatosa School district. The school exhibits a positive community experience where all students are part of the school. Teachers are very caring, dedicated, and professional.Parent Review1y ago - Craig Montessori School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA few great teachers like Mrs Christine and the Gym teacher Mr Wensel. The principal Ms Tooks is so unprofessional. She does not respond to emails.. She lies to parents and I disliked the school even more because of her lack of professionalism she really needs to go. Glad I got my three star kiddos out they absolutely deserved better. MPS need to do better with who they have in charge. Just unacceptable.Parent Review6mo ago - Eighty-First Street School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTruly, I have been extremely happy with this school for the past 3 years. The staff truly care. They are very good at what they do, and they have a HUGE support system in the parents, volunteers, and PTA. The students learn interesting and important content - all while learning German. The kids are held to a reasonably challenging standard, and most kids seem to do well once they accept that challenge.Parent Review4y ago - Emerson School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragemMy nephew attended Emerson Elementary for the year of 2019. Due to his family situation I would drop off and pick him up every day, the teachers and staff are very connected with the students and take pride in their teaching. They are very caring and involved with each student,Parent Review2y ago - Grantosa Drive School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was enrolled at this school for the K4 program. The curriculum was very good, however there was a disconnect between the teachers and the students. They really just wanted to complete the task at hand which was their lesson. If there was a problem with bullying (which is a huge problem at this school) they would not address it properly. They would move on as if the issue did not exist. This is very concerning.Parent Review6y ago - Ninety-Fifth Street School
