She lies to parents and I disliked the school even more because of her lack of professionalism she really needs to go. Glad I got my three star kiddos out they absolutely deserved better. A core memory, something every child looks forward to after years of effort, was denied. And for what?Boys of color are already the most misrepresented, misled, and misunderstood in Milwaukee. In a district that claims to be inclusive and student-centered, this decision felt like punishment—not guidance, not support.What makes it even more disheartening is that while other MPS schools celebrate their students with full ceremonies and cap-and-gown traditions, Engleburg doesn’t even provide those. Our kids already get less—and now they’re being told they don’t deserve to be seen at all.This isn’t about policy—it’s about respect. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBullying was outrageous. My daughter was attacked by a group of girls in her classroom, in THIRD GRADE. They never called me about the incident, I had to call them after my daughter told me what happened. Their solution at the time of the incident? To remove my daughter from the class and place her into a second grade classroom instead of removing the children that attacked her. Racism is also a big problem.
