Read what parents are saying about Windsong SchoolMy son was the only Black child in the kindergarten 2022 and went for nearly a year. One day I received an email—not even a phone call—that he was not permitted to attend any longer. I contacted the principle for some account of why this had happened and she refused to provide any reason whatsoever. To this day I’ve never been given an explanation why the only Black child in the Windsong kindergarten was kicked out of the school.
Posted by a parent on 1/23/2024Bad experience. Parents are not listened to.
Posted by a parent on 10/25/2023An excellent school that reenforces the strengths of each child. Kids are allowed to develop their social - emotional skills as well as their fine and gross motor skills. Children are excited to go to school because they learn at their own pace and not forced to learn content or drilled to death with test prep. Great and wholesome community that rallies together and support one another. The teachers here are calm and very loving to their students. And they listen to parent concerns. Highly recommend!
Posted by a parent on 4/24/2023More than just a school, Windsong provides a community for children to learn and grow. Gives students the tools they need to be a whole well rounded human in today's world.
Posted by a parent on 3/9/2023We are beyond happy that we found the Windsong community! The kindergarten program was a great fit for our daughter, the campus is beautiful, and the teachers are calm, kind, and knowledgeable.Windsong preserves childhood for their students through cultivating play, wonder, and a reverence for nature. There's a feeling of peace and calm when entering a Windsong classroom: the colors are muted, natural light is used instead of florescent light, and the toys and classroom materials are arranged in a way that are inviting to children.Another reason that I love Windsong is because children play, both indoors and outdoors. They listen to stories that are told aloud, make art, and are not exposed to technology while at school. To me, Windsong is one of the most magical places on Earth.

My son was a midyear transfer from a private school and they did a tremendous job helping with his transition and accommodating his need for understanding and help with ADHD and with his need for accelerated material in the classroom.Parent Review4y ago - Holmes Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey fired the principal who everyone loved suddenly, without any discussion with the parents, then the pastor left, and the vice principal left. Also they took advantage of us during the coronavirus by continuing to charge parents, plus getting money from the government. Our child was only there for 2 months but we ended up paying for 10 months plus mandatory donations. It is so sad, we had such high hopes for this school but it just cost us a lot of money. Some weird politics are going on and communications are not good. Watch out.Parent Review3y ago - St Charles Catholic School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo glad we found this school when the rest of the world was losing its mind! The leadership has done an amazing job at building community and the move to a solid "Catholic Classical" curriculum was the best decision they could have made!! One of my sons was reading at a 3rd grade level at the beginning of his 6th grade year. The teacher was able to give him the necessary attention because the class sizes are reasonable. He was able to read at grade level by the end of the year. Truly amazing!!I cannot speak highly enough of this school and recommend it to everyone that cares about the "whole person" your child is becoming.Parent Review5mo ago
