Windsong School

My son was the only Black child in the kindergarten 2022 and went for nearly a year. One day I received an email—not even a phone call—that he was not permitted to attend any longer. I contacted the principle for some account of why this had happened and she refused to provide any reason whatsoever. To this day I’ve never been given an explanation why the only Black child in the Windsong kindergarten was kicked out of the school.

Bad experience. Parents are not listened to.

An excellent school that reenforces the strengths of each child. Kids are allowed to develop their social - emotional skills as well as their fine and gross motor skills. Children are excited to go to school because they learn at their own pace and not forced to learn content or drilled to death with test prep. Great and wholesome community that rallies together and support one another. The teachers here are calm and very loving to their students. And they listen to parent concerns. Highly recommend!

More than just a school, Windsong provides a community for children to learn and grow. Gives students the tools they need to be a whole well rounded human in today's world.

We are beyond happy that we found the Windsong community! The kindergarten program was a great fit for our daughter, the campus is beautiful, and the teachers are calm, kind, and knowledgeable.Windsong preserves childhood for their students through cultivating play, wonder, and a reverence for nature.There's a feeling of peace and calm when entering a Windsong classroom: the colors are muted, natural light is used instead of florescent light, and the toys and classroom materials are arranged in a way that are inviting to children.Another reason that I love Windsong is because children play, both indoors and outdoors. They listen to stories that are told aloud, make art, and are not exposed to technology while at school.To me, Windsong is one of the most magical places on Earth.
