Read what parents are saying about Al-Iman SchoolThe teachers are very interactive with the students and have no trouble reevaluating questions inquired by students who don't understand the lesson on the prior explanation. This school also offers many opportunities to build your leadership skills. The school offer a variety of competition including but not limited to Art, Debate, Science, and Poetry. Moreover, this school provides an Islamic environment, where students feel safe, learn more about their religion, and find their true self. In my experience, the teacher’s welcome newcomers warmly, and they attempt to strike a conversation with any new students without the person attempting to fit in or feeling insecure. There have been no cases of bullying, as, due to how the school is not crowded, the students get along and are very close with each other. Overall, it is an amazing environment and an institution where the students can be comfortable and interact with teachers to rise to the top. We always had peace of mind knowing kids are doing academic achievement along with learning ethical values.

Posted by a parent on 4/1/2019As a parent Al-Iman school is a wonderful, safe, and Islamic environment for my daughter. I realized my daughter's improvement in Education and Islamic studies. The school provides them with a lot of activities and competitions to develop an active and creative mind. It's amazing to see how much the teachers care about the student's studies and support them all the way to the end.
Posted by a parent on 11/14/2018This school has been fortified substantially since the new administration took initiative and began refining the school. The teachers are very interactive with the students and have no trouble reevaluating questions inquired by students who don't understand the lesson on the prior explaination. This is due to the small yet comfortable class size. The school provides clubs that students could participate in, competitions for debates, poetry, and other activities to hook the students into working to achieve triumph. Heritage day is also a project worked towards prior to the event that provides students with knowledge about cultures. The school is opened for all religions/sects despite it's Islamic display. Non muslims are known to still be comfortable in the environment provided for them. There has been zero cases of bullying, as, due to how the school is not crowded, the students get along and are very close with each other. In my experience, the students welcome newcomers warmly, and they attempt to strike a conversation with any new students without the person attempting to fit in, or feeling insecure. Overall, it is an amazing environment and an institution where the students are able to be comfortable and interact with teachers to rise to the top.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOutside of the school, there is too much scaffolding. And the people that are building it won't even tell us why or what they're building. And on top of that, the 3rd & 5th grade exits are changed! That's very annoying for me because I'm a fifth grader. The recess field is now very limited because of the scaffolding. The kids who usually play a sport (the only sports are soccer and basketball) can't play the sport they're playing. But the good news is, the kids get to go to the playground next to the field. But I would still recommend this school. Signed, The C GuyParent Review1y ago - Ps 182 Samantha Smith

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePoor leadership, no real communication with families, high staff turnover at all of their schools. The elementary school is located in a very unsafe location (in close proximity to a mens shelter) I do not recommend anyone bring their student to Growing up green, do your research and go elsewhere.Parent Review1mo ago
