Read what parents are saying about Loudonville Christian SchoolThis school is wonderful! The teachers and new administrators care deeply about the students. They work well with families to make sure each child’s needs are met. Your child will leave with a biblical worldview and the critical thinking skills needed to engage people with other views. They offer many AP courses and prepare students well for college and the world in general. Very thankful for LCS!
Posted by a community member on 5/1/2021This school is tremendous value for my children's educational future and spiritual and emotional health. The decision to send my kids to LCS was one of the best for our family.
Posted by a parent on 11/16/2020This is a well run organization that cares about it’s students and their education. LCS is well staffed and is always evaluating performance in order to improve. My children have always felt safe, supported, challenged and successful while attending LCS.
Posted by a parent on 11/30/2017There will always be a special place in my heart for LCS. I started at LCS in 7th grade and have since graduated. The friendships I've made with my classmates and the faculty are priceless. My wife and I grew up together in LCS. A few of my closest friends even stood up for me at our wedding. They're strong academically (I think our class had the 2nd highest SAT scores in the capital district my senior year), and spiritual truths are woven into every class. I would highly recommend sending your son or daughter to LCS!

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school. They do not interact with the community any more. They do not provide extra help for kids. They are only there to get your money and try to keep school doors open. Kids are scared of certain teachers and especially the new principle. I’m surprised the principal isn’t slapping their hands with rulers im sure she would if she could.Parent Review5mo ago - Blessed Sacrament School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is discrimination in the school and no one is doing anything about it. My kid was bully, hit on the private area and was asked to leave the school for no reason. His grade three teacher tried to cover her mess ,not polite to kids in her class; lied to the principal then sent my kid out of her class just because parent asked for mediation in the class. My kid was left by himself in the hallway over a week, no class or supervision. How cruel a school can be to an innocent kid..Parent Review1y ago - Saint Gregory's School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had concerns my son wasn’t reading at grade level. I was dismissed at his conferences and told he was doing fine. We decided to pull our children from the school after we felt our concerns were being dismissed. Day one at his public school he was identified as a child who needed immediate academic intervention. After 2 months of reading support his teacher told us he was never taught how to read correctly. Never taught how to decode words. I am so upset I didn’t trust my gut instant and fight harder for my son. Instead he spent many days looked over because he’s a good student and the attention was spent on the kids whose parents intervene daily at pick up or drop off or the students who had break downs daily. My other child was leaning math 2 years above his grade level. When I questioned this, I was dismissed. He was graded on a “curve” and never earned below a 90 to keep parents happy. He spent 2 years retaining nothing in math and never learning the skills needed in middle school. He quickly learned in his new school that teachers do not grade on a curve to keep parents happy. The grade he earned is the grade he received. He was also subjected to a student who would disrupt class daily and because the student’s mother paid full tuition he was never dealt with and his behaviors disrupted the education for many students. Hearing that my son was never taught the skills to successfully learn how to read is sad. But I’m glad we have moved on and his current school is helping him. Think twice before you invest money into this education.Parent Review4mo ago - St Pius X
