Read what parents are saying about St Pius X SchoolI would not recommend this school. They do not interact with the community any more. They do not provide extra help for kids. They are only there to get your money and try to keep school doors open. Kids are scared of certain teachers and especially the new principle. I’m surprised the principal isn’t slapping their hands with rulers im sure she would if she could.
Posted by a parent on 11/9/2023St. Pius has been a home to my 3 children for over 7 years! The curriculum is academically challenging but the instruction is fun. The class sizes lend themselves to really individualized attention of the students and the teachers are compassionate and caring. My youngest just graduated Pre_k and will be entering K in the Fall. I am confident that his teachers taught him all he needs to be prepared while also promoting an environment of respect, love and kindness. It is really special to be a part of school that still enjoys concerts and Spirit Day, promoting faith and service.
Posted by a parent on 7/8/2021My two youngest attended St. Pius for preschool. Loved the experience. Truly loving and caring teachers. Thrilled with the amount they learned. Our family has a St. Pius graduate as well as a soon to be Kindergartener and second grader.
Posted by a parent on 6/25/2021I wouldn't go anywhere else for preschool. The teachers care for these children like they are their own! Despite a challenging year due to the pandemic, my child looked forward to going to school each day.
Posted by a parent on 6/25/2021Our son has been in St. Pius X School since Pre-K. We have been very pleased with the focus on traditional educational standards and the Catholic faith. There is no comparison with public schools, St. Pius stands heads and shoulders above all local public schools. Very highly recommended.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is discrimination in the school and no one is doing anything about it. My kid was bully, hit on the private area and was asked to leave the school for no reason. His grade three teacher tried to cover her mess ,not polite to kids in her class; lied to the principal then sent my kid out of her class just because parent asked for mediation in the class. My kid was left by himself in the hallway over a week, no class or supervision. How cruel a school can be to an innocent kid..Parent Review1y ago - Loudonville Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is wonderful! The teachers and new administrators care deeply about the students. They work well with families to make sure each child’s needs are met. Your child will leave with a biblical worldview and the critical thinking skills needed to engage people with other views. They offer many AP courses and prepare students well for college and the world in general. Very thankful for LCS!Other Review2y ago - Saint Gregory's School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had concerns my son wasn’t reading at grade level. I was dismissed at his conferences and told he was doing fine. We decided to pull our children from the school after we felt our concerns were being dismissed. Day one at his public school he was identified as a child who needed immediate academic intervention. After 2 months of reading support his teacher told us he was never taught how to read correctly. Never taught how to decode words. I am so upset I didn’t trust my gut instant and fight harder for my son. Instead he spent many days looked over because he’s a good student and the attention was spent on the kids whose parents intervene daily at pick up or drop off or the students who had break downs daily. My other child was leaning math 2 years above his grade level. When I questioned this, I was dismissed. He was graded on a “curve” and never earned below a 90 to keep parents happy. He spent 2 years retaining nothing in math and never learning the skills needed in middle school. He quickly learned in his new school that teachers do not grade on a curve to keep parents happy. The grade he earned is the grade he received. He was also subjected to a student who would disrupt class daily and because the student’s mother paid full tuition he was never dealt with and his behaviors disrupted the education for many students. Hearing that my son was never taught the skills to successfully learn how to read is sad. But I’m glad we have moved on and his current school is helping him. Think twice before you invest money into this education.Parent Review4mo ago - St Pius X
