Find another school for the sake of your child and yourself. There is better education on YouTube than here. They do not take discipline and bullying seriously. Save your child the horror and abuse (mental, emotional and physical) they will go through and maintain your sanity. The teachers will not do anything but tell your kids to ignore and over look them being bullied, the assistant principle will just butter you up so you can go home, you’ll never see the principal and let’s not even mention the superintendent that is technically nonexistent until court is mentioned and one of his employee’s says something.

St Pius X in School is great place for only rich kids. Their principal is rude to women but nice to men. He has a big ego. In the morning when one drops kids off, they don't have enough stuff to supervise the drop off situation and it's a complete mess every morning.The principal yells at parents if they don't get in the right lane. He is very unprofessional and rude especially to women.On the positive, their math, Spanish, science, music and other teachers are super great! My kid is getting great education even though school is very political. My family is well off but if you are not, then you don't belong here in this school, and your kids won't make any friends and won't be happy.

This school is wonderful! The teachers and new administrators care deeply about the students. They work well with families to make sure each child’s needs are met. Your child will leave with a biblical worldview and the critical thinking skills needed to engage people with other views. They offer many AP courses and prepare students well for college and the world in general. Very thankful for LCS!

Despite a few dedicated teachers, my experience at Doane Stuart was almost entirely negative. I did not feel safe or supported at school and was bullied my entire time there. Rather than help solve the problem, administration suggested I do all schoolwork from home without any guidance (at full tuition) until things worked themselves out. Some version of this situation happened every year I was there until my senior year when they told me it would be easier for me to just not return for the rest of the year. Drugs are also a significant issue at the school which continues to be swept under the rug because retaining full tuition students and donor families is the priority at DS, not safety. Financial instability and the constant turnover of faculty and students led to a very unstable environment and greatly affected the quality of the academics and student life. Families were always assured that there was something better around the corner, but things only seemed to go downhill over the past few years. All of this disorganization and the issues with bullying and drugs left the senior class unprepared for college applications and some people did not apply during their time at DS, but this also went unaddressed. I am grateful for the teachers that supported me, but I would not recommend this school to anyone, especially after recent changes. Students and their needs should be the priority, not public image or profit.

Not a great school. Middle school classes are so small and kids don't feel they belong there unless you grew up in the neighborhood. There is no diversity here.Girls have the hardest time at this school since teachers don't teach them how to be kind and accept one another. It's only ok for kids if parents are very rich. If you are middle class and don't drive latest Mercedes or Porche car, DO NOT send your kids here, they won't be accepted and would be made of fun of and bullied every day.
