Read what parents are saying about Resurrection Lutheran SchoolWe have been attending here for the passed couple of years and are extremely happy with the level of education our child has received. The teachers are great, the curriculum challenging. There is also a high level of safety that we are pleased with. The fact that it’s a Christian school is a plus!
Posted by a parent on 2/12/2024I am well qualified to write this review as two of my children who have gone to RLS from K to 8th grade and I still have one at the school. Even though I have driven through the carpool line more than 2,000 times, I continue to thankful for this special place. For my introverted child, I felt they were able to find a place in the small, safe classrooms. For my more extroverted child, I appreciated the outside lunches and recess for middle schoolers (something not offered in public schools). For both my studious child and the child who needed a bit more academic help I'm thankful for the personalized instruction and extra time they were given from caring teachers willing and able to spend a bit of extra time encouraging each one. Resurrection Lutheran School has been a great fit for our family, but it's not for someone with special needs or looking for extreme academic challenges. Because it's small, RLS allows everyone to participate in extracurricular activities which means the basketball team doesn't always win or the dramatic performance can't be heard. That's the beauty of the place - a family atmosphere with a supportive staff. Go for a visit. You won't regret it.
Posted by a parent on 4/21/2022Our experience at RLS was absolutely amazing...I would highly recommend to anybody looking for the complete package. We consider RLS like home for our family.
Posted by a parent on 6/13/2020Exceptional! I dropped my child off at school each day knowing he would be safe, loved, challenged, and encouraged...all within a Christian environment!
Posted by a parent on 6/12/2020This is a hidden gem. In addition to learning they teach the students how to be good students and what it means to be a good student. If you want a smaller environment with an excellent curriculum, this is the right choice.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur 6 yr old was attacked in class at the beginning of the year and then attacked by the same student in the middle of the year. She no longer felt safe in class. The attacks were impulsive according to administration. We accepted that and was not looking at punishing the other child. We merely wanted our child to feel safe again and asked that she be moved to another classroom. They would not comply. Stating that they had a process to follow... That process should have started at the beginning of the year. Not after our child was attacked for the second time. She wasn't the only student that had a negative encounter with this particular student either, which just shows that it's going to keep happening. Especially since there was no punishment/consequence that has deterred this student from repetitive negative actions. It is unbelievable to me that they expect my little girl to stay in the same class with the boy that attacked her. Would we ever ask any woman to do that?? No! Aren't impulsive crimes punished???? Yes! I told my daughter how she feels matters and that she has a voice. No one touches you without your permission and no one can tell you that your feelings don't matter. So we left the school, never to go back. I will say that we loved our teacher. I feel that she isn't given the resources that she needs to help with the schools all inclusive policy. The principal was also very kind and compassionate. However, the vice principal is cold and defensive. Could care less about our child. She was telling me about life..... really???? I'm a minority that grew up very poor, she isn't, and she wants to tell me about life and hardship and asked what would I do if this happens in the future or my children are in other situations like this....I told her I know when to remove myself from a negative situation and this was one of them. The nerve of that vice principal. She needs lessons in communicating with parents! She talked down to me the entire time like she was better then me and it made me so angry. It's been a long time since I've felt that way. I can't believe she's the vice principal of an elementary school.Parent Review1y ago - Learn With The Best School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLearn with the Best School has been a great fit for my 4th grade son who has Asperger s Syndrome. He has been in both public school and traditional private school settings and neither have been a fit. LWTB school provides a calm, friendly atmosphere, small class size, impressive teaching staff, sensory breaks, challenging academics that match my child s needs. We are happy here!Parent Review9y ago
