Read what parents are saying about North Cobb Christian SchoolNo complaints accept the moving forward program does not offer as much support as public school system for children with learning disabilities. Wonderful sports program! Wonderful Pre K-highschool.
Posted by a parent on 2/13/2024It is our son's first year at NCCS and we are very happy with the decision we made to register him. What mostly pleases us regarding the school is that the leadership is truly committed to Christ and to the students while being graceful and encouraging. The classes and activities that are offered throughout the year are relevant to this generation's challenges and needs. The school offers a variety of honor and advanced classes and the sports program is great. We were looking for a school that would teach students from a Biblical World View, partnering with parents on preparing students to be salt and light while using their gifts and talents for the Kingdom and to serve others and we found that at NCCS.
Posted by a parent on 2/11/2024We love the school! The faculty pours into the students and creates a great environment for them to learn and grow. Christ is the center of the decision making process
Posted by a parent on 12/22/2023NCCS is the BEST! My son has been there from K3 (preschool) now a thriving first grader! NCCS is top tier education and a caring, supportive school as well. A true extension of our family and lives. Grateful for NCCS!
Posted by a parent on 12/14/2023My three children enrolled at North Cobb Christian School in 2019, and it was the absolute best decision we have ever made for our family. This school intentionally disciples students, encouraging their personal relationships with Jesus. The school calendar revolves around providing opportunities for students to glean biblical truth — from fall retreat the second week of school … to Spring Term mission trips every year … to daily chapels and biblical integration across all subjects. The teachers are all mature believers, modeling authentic faith and creating a true family culture at NCCS. Academically, my students have been much more challenged than they were in public school, and they have thrived in the challenging but supportive environment. The extracurricular opportunities at NCCS are also unmatched— my children have been a part of the football, soccer, swimming, cross country, track, and wrestling teams, in addition to being in plays, playing in the band and orchestra, singing in chorus, thriving in truly stellar visual arts classes, and taken piano and guitar lessons for over 5 years. At NCCS, they are discovering the unique gifts God granted them. I am forever grateful for all this school provides — and all through the lens of Christ!

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are some amazing teachers at this school but unfortunately there are also some terrible ones who have no business teaching as they display favoritism and bias and are clearly not passionate about nurturing children and making a positive impact nor have the people skills to deal with parents. My experience with the administration is that they protect their own at the expense of your child. Bullying is not addressed and handled in a very dismissive manner. There is no accountability on the part of staff should your child suffer in anyway. I don't believe that all the children recieve the same level of education and support at this school as another reviewer stated, the wealthy and privelaged students will have a positive experience here. Its really sad how much education has declined since Covid.Parent Review1y ago - Lewis Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI believe Lewis is a fantastic school it is diverse among the students that go there. The teachers and staff are engaged at the school and take pride. The culture appears to conducive to learning no bullying that I noticed when visiting there. Most important based on statistics children are learning here and it is not a daycare where teachers don’t care and come just to get paidParent Review7mo ago - Baker Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers don’t care…if your child has learning difficulties don’t expect the teachers to care. They will tell your child that he/she is a failure by giving them a bunch of F’s…failing grades are okay with them…sad place to get an educationParent Review1y ago - Bullard Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m not sure where these bad ratings come from. My kids love this school. We’ve been here 2 years now & my kids are loving it… literally excited to go to school. There are many activities, great teachers, & the people in the front office are very helpful. There was an issue with the buses and the people who we were directed to speak with were awesome too. Even the bus drivers are awesome. The kids go on lots of field trips & there are a TON of activities at the school not only the children but for the families too. I am so happy we ended up at this school. My kids literally adore all their teachers. I have not interacted with the principal yet, but I have zero complaint about her so far. Not sure why so many people rate poorly…Parent Review1mo ago - Mccall Primary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFBCS is a God send. After going through a life changing event, I needed to find a school fast and my child wanted to go to a place he could learn about God. While going through a family transition, the admins and teachers were so loving, helpful and supportive of us. The education is on par and they allow the children to go up or down a level in different subjects according to the child’s needs. The front desk literally knows every ones names and families. This is not an environment that has a bunch of cliques…they genuinely love on everyone and make you feel welcome no matter what your background, family status or ethnicity is. We have a beautiful multicultural student body where they help foster the fruit of the Spirit for all children. The headmaster was the former principal of Kennesaw Mountain H.S. and the extends her personal number to anyone in need or that has questions. I love that we can feel like family at this school with no worrying about the doctrine or education the students receive. The most impressive part is the true christian education. The teachers pray over every desk each day and the have a prayer group for moms once a week to also cover the school, staff and families there. My child has come home telling me more about the Bible than I realized he could process at a young age. It has encouraged me to study the word or God more. This is one of the most precious gems in Kennesaw and it is my hope and prayer that more families discover and choose to come to this amazing school. It’s a blessing to be here.Parent Review11mo ago - OWL Academy
