Read what parents are saying about Children of Purpose Christian AcademyI am a graduate of Children of Purpose. I have had a hard time getting into college because several colleges said that they do not accept the diploma that are given by Children of Purpose. I attend Palm Beach State College now but I had to take a entrance exam because Palm Beach State did not accept the diploma either. I also found that the classes that were taught at Children of Purpose did not prepare me for college level classes. If you are a high school student you should think twice about attending Children of Purpose.
Posted by a community member on 1/26/2013My son has been a this school for the 12-13 school year. The location of the school is great BUT the condition of the buildings are horrible. I love the teachers there, and they show that they care very much about my son's education. They were supposed to move into a much bigger and better location during the holidays but still haven't, not sure as to why. I do keep in mind that there focus is my focus, empowering our children no matter where they live and what their backgrounds are.
Posted by a parent on 1/8/2013I would not recommend this school to anyone. Their curriculum is not adequate and the quality of teaching is poor. They offer transportation but their transportation is very unreliable. The meals that they offer is unsatisfactory. The condition of the buildings is also poor. As a parent I was very disappointed and feel that this school needs a lot to be desired.
Posted by a parent on 12/4/2012this is a private Christian school , the teach to student ratio is very good, especially if your child is struggling and also having problems adjusting to a public school. this school uses the Pace program. the teachers are very loving and patient with the students.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been attending this school since Pre-K III. She has excelled so much since being there. She has had the same teacher for all of Pre- K 3-4 and K. I highly recommend this school. My son starts next school year and I am beyond excited.Parent Review2y ago - Roosevelt Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers are very effective but the community and the school's community need revamping. Teachers are overwhelmed, there is just not enough help and funding to make better changes. This all have to do with the head of the school. Students are very disrespectful, no decent upbringing and its all out of wack! However, the educators there just do not get any credit for all the hard work put in the make the school not be an F school.Other Review2y ago - Westward Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe arts aspect is great. The students don't understand how privileged they are to be gain so much exposure. Some of the teachers are very passionate. Others, you can tell who's basically checked out. There is a low morale for a school that's supposed to be in the Ron Clark Academy house system. Admin is non the micromanage type. That's refreshing.Teacher Review1mo ago - West Riviera Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrincipal allows her teachers to be disrespectful to parents, school district will not / cannot do anything about it, it seems. There is one teacher that everyone bump heads with because of her choice of approach, she will disrespect you right in front of the principal and she would not do nothing. The teachers here cares more about money and what they are being paid more than actually caring about teaching the students.Parent Review1y ago - Pleasant City Elementary School
