Roosevelt Elementary School

My daughter has been attending this school since Pre-K III. She has excelled so much since being there. She has had the same teacher for all of Pre- K 3-4 and K. I highly recommend this school. My son starts next school year and I am beyond excited.

We transferred here from the northeast. Mrs. Hunter was so helpful through all the paperwork and out of state changes. My son loves it! He says it’s so much cleaner and brighter than his old school. Thank you!

The arts aspect is great. The students don't understand how privileged they are to be gain so much exposure. Some of the teachers are very passionate. Others,you can tell who's basically checked out. There is a low morale for a school that's supposed to be in the Ron Clark Academy house system. Admin is non the micromanage type. That's refreshing.

I love this school...My daughter has really blossomed into a bright young women at this school. The staff at this school visibly show concern for the childrens health and well being. The principal has really done a great job with the atmosphere and my daughter just adores it.

My child attended this school for her 5th grade year for the School year 21/22. She absolutely loved it. The teachers and staff helped facilitate and nurture her growth. They helped get her ready for auditioning at Bak Middle School of the Arts. I can't say enough great things about this school.

I am beyond disappointed and literally disgusted with my experience at St. Ann Catholic School.My children attended this school for 5 years, and over time, multiple concerns arose. Unfortunately, instead of being addressed with care and professionalism, interactions with staff were often dismissive and, at times, very condescending and argumentative. The final and most serious issue involved my younger child, who had just started Pre-K. During a medical incident, he became very ill and was left sitting in feces without proper attention or basic sanitation, with eczema! This was completely unacceptable and deeply concerning from both a health and dignity standpoint.As a result, I made the immediate decision to withdraw both my children from the school. When I let this vile school know, their only concern was tuition for that month, and they withheld report cards as well. I did not care, they were false anyway. I later heard that the teacher that targeted my family was fired from the school, but either way the entire administration is very poorly ran and if you are not a child of the staff, or a straight A student you are literally screamed at and targeted. There are additional documented concerns, that reflect a pattern of behavior that I cannot ignore.I strongly encourage other parents to thoroughly evaluate this school before making the decision to enroll their children.
