1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageForeman got new administration in the 2019-2020 school year and since then have made incredible strides in building an exciting and supportive school community. Additionally, opportunities for students have increased greatly, with new programs and new pathways. In fact, the Fine Arts department has developed an entirely new curriculum centered around students creative and skill-driven goals, now being the only CPS school where all fine arts teachers are qualified to teach college credit classes! Another first, the music department features music in world culture ensemble and jazz studies for students interested in a culturally relevant and fun music education. Don’t overlook this amazing school that is only getting more amazing by the day!Teacher Review3y ago - Lloyd Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended this school pre k through 2nd grade and she is transferring to a new school the upcoming year because this school did not help her. My daughter is at a kindergarten reading level and as much as I try to help her I felt her school wasn't doing enough for her. There are after school programs available but she did not "qualify" for them because she was way under her reading level. Those programs are for students almost meeting there reading level. So they basically forget about the rest. Every child should be entitled to extra help if needed. I hope my daughter recieve a better education a her new school.Parent Review8y ago - Northwest Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible school. I have worked there. The girls get sexually harassed and bullied. The teachers get bullied as well. The students constantly make remarks about teacher’s appearance, weight, and sexual orientation. The students also have multiple instagram pages in which they harass teachers and students. It is utter chaos in this school. Administration does nothing. They do not care about their brown kids. Don’t send your kids here, it is unsafe!Other Review1y ago - Check out schools near 5022 W Palmer St #2.

"Apt allows cats, why not small dogs, people sometimes need service dogs, or just regular smaller dogs, if the apt isn't big enough for a medium or larger dog."

"Lots of renovations and construction going on. Area definitely on a upswing! Wide range of homes in price and size. Decent taxes. Most homes and blocks are well kept, some better than others. Many schools and parks. Lots of places to eat and shop close by. Not a lot of crime But you still have to be careful your in the CITY. Kinda loud at times with weekend yard parties or cars bumping and thumping. Litter is one thing we could do a better job of! KEEP IT CLEAN PEOPLE!. Have lived in the area for over 30years. Very diverse. Central location in the City makes it easy to get around. It’s the people who make a neighborhood great! Let’s do our part people.."
