8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJanet moss ( the principal at coulwood) is very disrespectful and now I see why the teachers act the way they do. Having a 504 meeting with teachers and she decided to interrupt us to ask me if I called CMS or did they call me. Yes I called because she lied and told CMS we had talked about the bullying, but I never spoke with her because she didn't have control over one of the staff members and I didn't feel safe at all. No man should ever feel like it's ok to scream, intimidate, and be aggressive to a women. This school is out of control and needs a new Principal that can handle the staff as well as their own attitude as well.Parent Review1y ago - West Mecklenburg High

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAdministration is terribly unsupportive, unresponsive, unprofessional, and lacking in overall professionalism. Overcrowded due to an entire side of the city being forced into the school despite many other high schools being in the area. Transportation is a nightmare. Athletics are a joke, they haven't had an indoor track team for years and they don't seem to care much about having one.Parent Review2mo ago - River Oaks Academy

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was at River Oaks Academy about one year ago and at this school, plenty of children were bullied. There were so many fights with no consequences, a child got choked by another child while teachers made that student say sorry, and so many children were put in harm's way by other children. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 9516 Drains Bay Ct.
