7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is no perfect school as staff shortage is the general downside nowadays. But TIES is a good school overall, in a great location. Class sizes are right. Admin and leadership is supportive and approachable. Most teachers are caring, they are serious about teaching. Although it has several doors, it’s a safe school, I have never seen any safety incidents. Mostly importantly kids are happy!Parent Review1y ago - Nautilus Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI just graduated from this school two days ago and I have to say it’s absolutely horrendous. This school does a really great job of clipping students wings and not allowing them to express themselves. The administration is too caught up in how much funding they get then paying attention to a student’s mental health, it’s honestly disappointing. The one highlight of this school is the amazing teachers, but other than that the place is a dump. Disgusting bathrooms, deteriorated interior, and just overall terrible people running it. The one thing that pushed me over the edge was the activities director. The day of graduation I arrived with a custom stole made by my sister with various clubs and my college I was going to. I walked in and the activities director snatched it off my shoulders and said “this comes with me”. When I asked for it back to just give to my parents she said no. I got no explanation as to why it was snatched and it baffles me because no where in the handbook was it stated a student can’t wear a stole. I arrived two days later where I was told it would be along with my diploma and instead I was told “it’s at my house”. Why is my stole in your house? And more importantly why is the inconvenience to me when you’re the person who didn’t put it in the handbook? It’s honestly just so frustrating because these people treat you like children even after you are an adult and graduated from their school. I would recommend any other school but this place, again it is a horrible place to send a student that wants to be expressive or even just themselves. I will not miss it.Other Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 7801 Hispanola Ave #3.

"The food, the people & the community events make this more of a “locals only” and “family friendly” place as opposed to the busier more congested Miami Beach areas. "

"Some Buildings have strict rules about dogs in apartments. Some people don’t pick up poop, which is a real issue. The majority of dogs are friendly."

"My specific condo is not dog friendly.... there are nice safe streets to walk dogs on... too many people abuse the special needs dog requirements makes it hard to believe genuine people"

"I've lived here 3 years now. Love the area because it is right on the water and close to South beach, Brickell and Wynwood. The rent is expensive $1500+ for a 1 bd room. Management can be inconsistent. But overall nice area to live safe and restaurants near by. Parking is usually included with the rent. "
