What Locals Say about Fountain

"It’s average, takes about 20 to 30 minutes from home to work. Leave before 7AM and beat all the school traffic "

"Great neighbors and quiet streets, great to take kids on bike rides and walks around the neighborhood."
- Katie R.
- Resident

"The homes are over priced and too close together. Crime rate is rising and there is zero flat land. If you’d like to live on the edge of a cliff in a house that was built in 3 months, this is the town for you! "
- Katie R.
- Resident
- 4y ago
"Loose dogs and no one picks up after them. Barking all night, left outside. Backyards aren’t big enough to accommodate dogs. "

"There’s dogs all over. Some streets aren’t as well-lit at night so it’s best to bring someone else or perhaps a flashlight with you on night walks. The park has a nice dog park. It is for all-sized dogs."

"It’s a beautiful place, I drive all the way from fountain to Pueblo. There is a lot of schools though. School traffic is a bit crazy. "

"I’ve lived in Fountain since 2016 and have had nothing but positive experiences. The Police and Fire Dept are on point! There’s plenty of places to shop and eat as well as trails and parks to get in some exercise. I don’t plan on leaving Fountain any time soon. The people here are nice and helpful the kids play outside on a regular basis, and downtown has a lot of activities for families to participate in and also the schools are amazing "
