Home prices are getting higher because there isn’t enough affordable housing stock available elsewhere in the city so people are buying in the Excelsior. To be honest, nobody knows the Excelsior because it is tucked between Mission Street and McLaren Park. Anyone I talk to from outside of the district asks where is the Excelsior."
