2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a horrible horrible school with teachers that don't care and talk down to the students. The principal didn't do anything so he was replaced with a principal a Mr Chapman that was very very rude and used profanity when speaking to parents and he is a liar. This school.was so bad I had to obtain a Lawyer on my son's behalf because of all the mess that was going on. I'm just upset I have to send my daughter back. I wish this rating had a zero. At all cost if you don't have to send your children to this school then dont.Other Review7y ago - Check out schools near 619 E Chelten Ave #2.

"Not really. Unique, just not so welcoming as a result, neighbors usually stay to themselves. However, there is a lot of loud music played at night no matter what the season is. "
- Allison F.

"Nothing. This neighborhood is unsafe with a high crime rate. Most people are rude. Can’t have packages delivered cause they all get stolen. "

"My family does things together. Our neighborhood isn’t the friendliest when it comes to joining together "
- Kaydeen C.

"Terrible neighborhood. It’s dangerous, filthy, and drug dealers everywhere. Only good thing is that I always have packages coming and they never get stolen off my porch. Other than that, it’s a trash neighborhood."

"There are many families who live in this area, mostly young. It's generally a nice place to live and raise a family. "

"We have events on our block every July the last Saturday some times it girls night out on the block we decorate are porches"
- Gary D.

"It's a horrible neighborhood. Dirty, loud, violent. Police don't respond to quality of life crimes: loud music, drug dealing, loitering, open marijuana smoking. Eateries are of low qualities. Neighborhood should be burnt to the ground. "
- Good Neighbor!

"Like most areas in Philadelphia, Germantown is starting to see gentrification. People love the older Victorian style homes that are one of a kind. I've been here now for close to 10 years and the area is definitely seeing new capital investments, in [structures & wonderful people]."

"not really a great place to live but if you stay to your self you will be ok. I lived in the area for years and I really don't like it but the rent is affordable so that's the only reason I stayed so long but I am now looking for another house because I can't take it any more."

"My favorite neighborhood event would have to be the block parties & cookout because that's when everyone really comes together as a unit. Everyone brings different food so you can experience a lot of different cultures & backgrounds."

"You can find a lot of different cultures and styles here. Everyone is also always friendly and makes sure that their neighbors are OK. It's more of a big family than a neighborhood really."

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 5 years. We have alot of good things here such as neighborhood, pubic transportation routes via Septa. Nights some blocks are well lit little hidden blocks may not be . Wister street is horrible from metal plates and the street is just jacked up... It gets hot sometimes around these areas it has peak seasons neighbors are all lind they speak. we have alot of abandoned cats in the area some pitbulls. wouldn't trade the diversity for anything... "
- Smth93bm

"I have lived here since 1974 and I have seen people come and go. Our neighborhood is quiet except for we hear the children playing and having fun. It's a good Community for the most part."
- Alice Y.

"I've lived in this neighborhood for over 3 years and it's quite because of businesses on the block closed on the weekend. Transportation is good and when I'm not driving bi only need to take one bus to work."
- Telfreda

"It’s a blend of history and change. The new bookstore uncle bobbies speaks to the rich heritage Germantown holds amongst people of color, because this area of the city was run inhabited by quakers"
