Roosevelt Theodore Middle School

The school is horrible only a little bit of the teachers are nice and the rest are just not good. The students are rude and mean. Also the school barely it really clean.

If you live in Philadelphia, this school is not a tuition based school. This school is an investment school, providing your child with spiritual foundation, academic foundation, social foundation and emotional stability across-the-board the school is the best and Philadelphia above charter school above private school.

My two boys (age 4 & 6) have enrolled in Miller Homeschool for aftercare and summer programming. I have been thrilled that my 6 year old begs to go so he can continue gaining fluency in reading, and my 4 year old is beginning to enjoy art. The head teacher is loving, engaging, up for adventures in experiential learning, and clearly is gifted in meeting a child exactly where they are - and inspiring them to take the next steps. I highly recommend this unique and intimate school with a special teacher.

The 'owner' of the 'school' was not properly trained on how to run this type of facility. She is extremely unprofessional and incompetent. There was excuse after excuse with no improvement. The smartest thing she stated was for me to look into other schools for my child, as I was preparing to do just that, which I'm sure she could sense. She provided personal hardships as to why she was unable to arrive on time to open the facility for my child, as he had pre-care, that I was paying for. The a.m. staff was unable to arrive on time, and as a result she stated she would be there to ensure the building was open to receive my child. She did not hold up to that and instead wanted to tell me how busy she was with other facilities and how I should be more understanding. She actually tried to blame her tardiness and incompetence on me. I refrained a lot from stating to her my level of anger about what my child and I had encountered on a repeated basis, as I didn't want her to take anything out on my child, in my absence. Leaving that place was the best thing for my child. He has been thriving and doing well at his new school. They are very dependable and not once have I had to wait for any staff member to open up the building.
