5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrom my perspective this school could do better. Without going into detail my experience has been a nightmare and I plan on having them taken out of this school soon as I'm able to. There are reason's why I'm having to finish out this new school year here but I most defiantly plan on leaving. I already have plans lined up. This school has disappointed me time and time again and has failed my child time and time again. Send your kids here at your own risk. I will say not all the teachers are bad but the majority don't seem to care about the students progress and when you turn to counselors, principles and such they seem to be in the woods about everything. Also there has been zero action taken on the bullying situation the bullying at this school with students bullying one another is some next level stuff just crazy. Also this school didn't have a crossing guard till AFTER I threw a fit about it so your welcome.Other Review9mo ago - Hubbard Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll three of my kids have attended here, and the two that have graduated were well prepared for college. My current student is challenged and loves it. There is strong communication between parents and staff, teachers, and administration. The leadership is excellent here.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 608 E 5th St.

What Locals Say about Tyler
- Candace Gilbert

"The people here are very violent and they are very mean to animals. It’s very noisy here all hours of the day and the cops and ambulances are here on nearly a daily basis. The current managers are doing nothing to keep us safe. Instead they make our lives miserable by constantly turning off the water, internet, and hot water for days at a time without notice. I’ve reached out to the owners but they are no help either."

"My neighborhood is extremely dangerous, especially if you’re white. If you dare venture to the back of the apartments, and you are white, they will stab you. It is extremely dangerous here and I wish the city would do something about it."

"Being able to walk in your neighborhood and children being able to go out and play safely without being scared and attacked by animals. Also knowing if there is sexual offenders nearby."
