If you ask the child what they learned they will tell you they did not learn anything. It's very frustrating and to think our taxes are paying for these terrible schools. Therefore, I will transfer the child to another school. Also, apparently the school does not give the teachers money for supplies so the teachers ask the students for items. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my personal opinion, ACHS has been one of the best schools i've attended. Theres a lot of diversity and they truly care and cater to your education. At achs, i'm excelling. Although i wish the homecoming had food & don't think 20-25$ tickets was worth it because they only served bottled drinks like water and gatorade, things like this change though. If you're making sure you stay engaged in class there's no doubt you won't succeed and if you are having issues with your teacher; always talk to a counselor about switching classes. much appreciation for this experience at ac.Student Review1y ago

"This is a very large community of younger families. There is apartment living as well as single family homes. Many of the children attend the Duval Charter Schools. There are great restaurants and shipping nearby."

"We love living right off of Old St. Augustine Road. It is quiet, close to Publix and the Walmart Neighborhood Market, a great elementary school and a neighborhood park which just added lighting to make it even safer. Quiet neighborhood with canals throughout. Love that there are plenty of sidewalks to take jogs, walk the dog on. We've lived here for 6 years and have enjoyed it very much. "
