Read what parents are saying about Alfred I. Dupont Middle SchoolZero. Where did the teachers go to school? They don't know how to teach the kids. If you ask the child what they learned they will tell you they did not learn anything. It's very frustrating and to think our taxes are paying for these terrible schools. Therefore, I will transfer the child to another school. Also, apparently the school does not give the teachers money for supplies so the teachers ask the students for items. Pathetic!

Posted by a student on 5/24/2017I went to this school all three years. I had moved from kentucky to florid,a and this was the closest school to where i was staying. At first, i didnt like the school, i was complaining all the time about fights and kids always wanting to fight me. however, this school was a major part of my life, made me who i am today. i will say it is all about who you surround yourself with at this school.being there for three years got me to know most of the students. discovered sports i wanted to do. also helped me get into honors writing, though this piece isnt that well put together. i graduated from this school back in 2014. im a junior in highschool now, going on tour to a military school in VA, to become an engineer and serve this nation for sometime.thank you for reading this. and if a student sees this shout out mrs. bean-pinkney for me.

Posted by a student on 1/7/2017The students are out of line, unruly, and uncontrollable. The teachers have no discipline and there is no order in the classroom. This school is a pathetic joke. Very sad.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent I would not recommend my worst enemies child to go there. The building itself is filthy and it is apparent when walking through the facilities. Floors are dirty when our children are constantly playing on them! I’ve seen so many cockroaches as well as even witnessed a teacher having to step on multiple in front of me. I have even taken concerns on my child’s Teddy Bear teacher to the directors and they didn’t listen and did nothing but vouch for her. We have had an awful experience there and will not be returning. My son didn’t want to go to school because of how poorly and rude his teacher spoke to him and constantly yelled at him. I’ve also noticed tons of teachers are leaving? All of us parents have noticed and are quite concerned. They were advertising needing teachers before school started, still at the beginning of the year, and even now halfway through. Why can’t they seem to keep people? Our favorite teachers have already left and we don’t even know why!Parent Review3mo ago - San Jose Episcopal Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur son is thriving. From the environment of loving teachers to the sweet nature of each student we have been so pleased with our decision to join SJEDS! The curriculum is tough and our kiddo has had a learning curve adjusting to the increased work load but he comes home each day eager to tackle it and excited to go back the next day. This is what school is suppose to feel like !Parent Review3w ago - The Bolles School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has not been a great experience for me. (1) There is A LOT of Bulling. (The teachers don't even care.)(2) I was also the only one in my class who got a 100% on my math exam and they gave me a C for my grade.(3) Also at school when we learn we are mostly playing.(4) Their sports are really good! ( I recommend doing sports here )(5) I recommend not coming to this school for learning.Student Review8mo ago - University Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI absolutely love University Christian! From the dedicated administrative team to the amazing teachers, it's been an incredible experience for our family. The administrative team at the school is truly exceptional. They are always welcoming, approachable, and ready to assist with any concerns or questions we may have. Their professionalism and commitment to creating a positive and supportive school environment make a world of difference. They make sure that every child feels safe and well-cared for, and their communication with parents is wonderful. But it's not just the administrative team that makes our school exceptional; it's also the wonderful teachers. They go above and beyond to ensure that our children receive the best education possible. Their passion for teaching is evident in their approach to nurturing our kids' curiosity and helping them grow academically and socially. The teachers create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment, and we are so grateful for their dedication and hard work.My children have learned so much, made great friendships, and developed a love for learning at this school. I couldn't be happier with the education and experiences they're getting here. It's clear that the school, its administrative team, and teachers all work together to provide a nurturing and enriching environment for our kids. I'm so thankful to have found such an incredible school, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to any parents looking for a place where their children can thrive and be happy.Parent Review5mo ago
