I am now a college graduate with a biology degree, but I was part of the AMSAT (applied math, science, arts, and technology magnet program at Clark from 2014-2018. My teachers were always willing to help me learn, and adequately prepared me for college life. I had many opportunities to participate in extracurriculars, volunteering, and after school clubs. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe entire staff, from principal, to school counselor, to teacher, to office admin. are the most amazing, compassionate CCSD employees I have ever dealt with. I have 2 children in CCSD, and have done my fair share of moving around Las Vegas and into Henderson. Previous schools attended were Twitchell ES and Gehring ES. Both schools, rated a 9/10 on this site, pale in comparison to Vegas Verdes ES. The teachers and administrative staff all truly love what they do, treat everyone equally, and teach our kids about respect and kindness. "At the moment in the area I live in ,it is very unsafe for families . They’re shootings regularly and they break into vehicles , sell drugs and it’s just not a good area "

"Condo living. I have lived her for almost 20 years. I love the pine trees and birds. I can walk my dogs pretty safely at any time of the day or night. I know all of my neighbors by first name and we watch out for each other. It's quiet most of the time. "
