Not only was I threatened at this school but the students constantly put me down. Most main staff would put students down, even when I had attempted suicide, the assistant principal had gotten mad at me and had told me that it was for only for attention. I once had a teach get mad at me for needing to go to the nurse for my diabetes along with two of the teachers being married so after one teacher made us stay behind and everyone had the clean up the mess of 2 students the oth

Posted by a student on 9/8/2025barely touched a kids shoes and he told on me and started weeping like i ripped his shoe in half like no smudges and sayin stuff like i creased his shoe when i used my hand to barely touch his shoe, also got suspended for defending my property from another student

Extremely “liberal” a lot of pink, and rainbows again from the principal down. The teachers are worksheet teachers. The students are fed worksheets and that is it. They have the option for a laptop there is not lesson plan attached. Racism is hidden but very much there. White teachers, Mexican Children w a few black kids mixed in. You have to go to another school to be able to see the shortcomings at Griffith, if your instincts as a mother are not there. I give the school 2 out of 10. The teachers are no good. The campus is beautiful, the staff is caring and supportive, and there are so many after-school activities for students to get involved in. The school also does a wonderful job creating family engagement opportunities, which really makes you feel like part of a community. She told me that one of the teachers kept on constantly yelling at her for talking. TALKING! We all have a voice for a reason. Even when she told me that some kid kept on scratching her in the face, she told me that the staff did absolutely NOTHING! HORRIBLE SCHOOL!
