Beginning on 1/31/24, Brevard County is shutting down the bridge on Micco Road for construction repairs. There will be no access to the Lakes of St. Sebastian from US-1 for approximately 8 to 12 months. The only ways to access the community during this time frame will be from Babcock Street to Micco Road and I-95 to St. Johns Heritage Parkway.

"We have lots of events, craft and art shows, block parties etc. very low crime rates and neighbors look after each other. Holiday festivities such as fireworks on 4th bn of July and our very own golf cart parade with decorated csrts. Christmas light parade, etc."

"Micco is a small town which consists of multiple small communities of manufactured homes. Ours is barefoot bay. It is a large community with great amenities such as a few pools, baseball field, golf course, restaurants, clubhouse which has many events going on all the time. It is not deed restricted, however, we do have 24/7 security who drive around and watch the neighborhood. This security will also notify of any homes which are letting there lawns get out of hand and any automobiles parked where it is against their policy. I like that there is someone looking out for suspicious activity day and night. The neighbors are also very much aware of suspicious activity. It used to be age restricted but is now family friendly and pet friendly"

"There are areas that are in a flood zone. Ask before buying. Great community. You own the land, so you dont worry about rent cost rising. Hoa is 750 a year which is reasonable. "

"Have visited here several times. This is perhaps the nicest area of Barefoot Bay. The pool is very close by, just a short walk, and the golf course is a short bike ride away. The homes in this area are well maintained and the neighbours are friendly."

"We just moved here from Bermuda. We love that it's far enough from the coast to not worry about hurricanes yet close enough to go to the beach anytime. Horses everywhere. Small farms and gardening next to Sebastian River, Indian River Lagoon, and Sebastian, as well as Vero Beach. 2 miles from Sebastian AIrport, 6 miles from Valkaria Airport, 15 miles from Melbourne Airport. etc."
