After parents spend a lot of money in regular school clothes for the school year now they decided a the end of the school year to go back to uniform without caring the financial hardship they will cause to parents. There are not school clothes in any stores and I called the principal secretary and they do not care kids can not attend to school if they do not have uniform. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter transferring to Northeast, I've really enjoyed it. I've recently graduated and come from a different school in the county. One of the bigger things you'll notice as a student is how much silent (and loud) racism and unprofessional things happen here. One of the teachers has been said to say the n-word multiple times, and pretty much harassed a student "attempting" to apologize about it. Another teacher, reveals his concealed carry card to students and tells them to "not try him." The school itself is pretty good, but you'll notice a lot more snarkiness, and silent drama. From what I've experienced there's a pretty good range of demographic at the school. It's not always one set group of students in the honors/AP/Dual enrollment classes and most of the teachers seem to try to help the students succeed if they want to. "Quiet and not very much traffic. No public transportation. However,the flooding is the real problem with Shore Acres. The streets flood causing me to stay home sometimes because I already have rusting under my car. The tide rises and backs up into the streets. I am moving from this neighborhood solely bc of the flooding. "

"Very close to downtown. Tucked away just enough but I can get to anything in 5-10 mins. Freeway 275 is 7 mins from the house. Safe to ride bikes and walk at night. "

"I lived here my entire childhood, and it is a fantastic neighborhood for children. There are always kids running about in golf carts or scooters, so it shows how safe people feel here. It’s secluded, yet close to stores, food, and downtown. I would 100% recommend Shore Acres to anyone who is looking for a nice, friendly, and kid-approved area. "

"There are 3 ways in and out of this neighborhood. It’s easy to get lost, but once you know your way around you’ll have no issues. When it rains it floods and can be nearly impossible to get in or out. "

"Waterway Estates is a private neighborhood (part of Shore Acres) with all waterfront homes. Almost every block has a cul-de-sac which is very safe for children to play in. Very family friendly! Short bike ride to downtown restaurants and shopping. Community center on corner!"
