6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStudents (especially the girl students) are sexually harassed with no punishment to their harasser, and in some cases, get in trouble for seeking justice. The administration justifies these actions and don't punish the male students because they’re on the football or basketball team. It’s horrifying, seeing your child be harassed in such a way with no repercussions. Please keep your children close and safe, because this school doesn’t.Parent Review1y ago - Maynard H. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI tried at this school but foster and the administration are awful they targeted me and provided little to no support for my 504 plan there’s no reason for expulsion for a vape device this school needs some real change and quick. All the students and employees for the most part are cool.Parent Review1y ago - Parkside Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience has been very Positive. We have absolutely loved our Elementary School teachers - 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade teachers have been amazing. My child feels safe and cared for. She also has fun and really looks forward to school and learning. The PTA does a great job of including families and Principal Foster, Miss HG and the leadership team do a phenomenal job of running this ship! The teachers and staff are especially supportive of kids that need attention and they have a lot of experience and patience working with kids from various backgrounds and learning levels. It is a very "inclusive" culture.Parent Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 38 Bass St SE.

"Summerhill the most historic and oldest community right next to Grant Park. Centrally located right at the heart of downtown Atlanta. Both 75/85 and I-20 are at your disposal for getting to work, shopping or fun very quickly. With new renovations and possibilities happening at the former Turner Field, the worth of this neighborhood will be increasing ."

"Dog owners love living in Summerhill because Grant park is right up the street, and there are dog parks in Grant Park. They might not like the fast drivers though."
- Luna R.
- Resident
- 5y ago
"The traffic in Atlanta is horrible, the drivers suck. However, in the neighborhood, there aren't a lot of drivers. But the few drivers on the road drive fast and reckless, so my commute is typically risky. I try not to die."
- Luna R.
- Resident

"Parents should know that there are two pedophiles residing in Summerhill. Kids walk up and down the streets of Summerhill, but are harassed by older men."
- Deborah C.

"Yes! There is a giant park with lots of space called DH Stanton Park. Dogs always are there running along the track."
- Daniel D.
- Resident
- 5y ago
"The kids of the neighborhood are so friendly, I see them everyday, and honestly on summer days I buy popsicles just for them. At night it is very rough, the street lights need to be fixed and kids stay out late so make sure the headlights are on."
- nknapp3
- Resident
- 5y ago
"Loud neighbors and loud cars and loud circuses in Turner field parking lots (for 33 days each year) and loud concerts and loud traffic. "
- nknapp3
- Resident
- 5y ago
"The loud music and rude neighbors are typical of this neighborhood. My neighbors hate me because they think I’m part of gentrification, but I’m not. I live here because it’s cheaper than Kirkwood. But it’s cheaper for a reason: it’s a noisy food desert. "
