Pros:- The faculty has some really lovely teachers- If you're an evangelical Christian, they pretty much run it like a church school.- The PTA puts on a lot of events and makes a lot of balloon arches.- The school office manager is kind and helpful.- The children are generally respectful of each other and bullying is limited.Cons:- If you're not an evangelical Christian you will feel excluded and be made uncomfortable frequently.- No arts education outside of very few classes.- They extracurricular programs are limited, the ones that do exist are exclusive, and allow very few children participate.- The current administration is flakey and inconsistent and operates in crisis mode.- They don't understand correlation and causation, and associate overburdening children with school work as the reason for high performance.- There is no gifted curriculum, and very poor application of services for delayed students (however, if your child is a robot they will thrive here, especially if they are programmed to test well and complete hundreds of worksheets a year).- The PTA is run as a clique and charges $ for EVERY single one of its events. "Just recently moved in a month ago. Everyone is talking care of their lawns, planting trees, and remodeling their homes. It's very quiet and peaceful. On a sunny day, people would walk their dogs. Great place to be since it's a hop and skip away from everything!"
