"i lived here for 6 yrs and most of the neighbors are friendly look out for each other your cars are safe lots of animals in the neighborhood kids are playing all the time "

"Underrated area! Only just blocks from North park and Kensington/Talmadge for a fraction of the price. Don't believe what you hear about this area called City Heights. Since the new police sub-station was put in over 10 years ago the area is as safe or safer than nearby Normal Heights and North Park. Great new schools too. As mentioned in the San Diego Reader last year, City Heights is the last "real" neighborhood in urban San Diego. "
