9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSince there are no recent reviews, I will give a breakdown on Wilson right now. Frankly, Wilson is not at its best right now. There is a lack of enthusiasm among students and little to no school spirit. The current principal only seems to micro-manage instead of promoting an enjoyable environment. Although academics are supposed to be a GAWHS strongpoint, it has been steadily declining for a while now. Social media rumors are taken incredibly seriously as well as any threats, so safety is a plus. Actual bullying is not handled well at all and ends up accomplishing little to nothing or creates a more hostile environment.The school in general is not that active and don’t get me started on teachers.Lots of teachers at GAWHS are super flippant, its like flipping a coin every year. There is an amount that are qualified and good at teaching and another handful who do not do their jobs and essentially create “independent study times” everyday. "Just recently moved in a month ago. Everyone is talking care of their lawns, planting trees, and remodeling their homes. It's very quiet and peaceful. On a sunny day, people would walk their dogs. Great place to be since it's a hop and skip away from everything!"
