Grazide Elementary has an amazing PTA! The Parent volunteers are very generous with their time and spend hours creating fun and meaningful events for the students throughout the year. The teachers are knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. The teachers hold high expectations.

5th grade bbq sucked badly people donated stuff for burgers saying that most aren’t rich and still donated to make the kids happy. They got plain in n out burgers i think no cheese no nothing just meat and buns. Why ask to donate if your not gonna use the items? Principal can’t speak spanish Heard a lot of fights happened over their. Can’t even keep the kids in control

Los Altos Elementary has a mix of good teachers and horrible teachers. There are many teachers that ar immature, gossip in front of the kids, and do not belong in an elementary school setting. Ive seen my child go through her years here and the education, experience, and potential is just not there anymore. This school has gone from a 7/10 to a 5/10 in 3 years. Many parent send their kids for the dual immersion program but in my opinion it's not worth receiving subpar education and having your children learn inappropriate behavior from teachers.

My kids have been at this school for years. Honestly, I wish I had chosen a different school. Pros:- The faculty has some really lovely teachers- If you're an evangelical Christian, they pretty much run it like a church school.- The PTA puts on a lot of events and makes a lot of balloon arches.- The school office manager is kind and helpful.- The children are generally respectful of each other and bullying is limited.Cons:- If you're not an evangelical Christian you will feel excluded and be made uncomfortable frequently.- No arts education outside of very few classes.- They extracurricular programs are limited, the ones that do exist are exclusive, and allow very few children participate.- The current administration is flakey and inconsistent and operates in crisis mode.- They don't understand correlation and causation, and associate overburdening children with school work as the reason for high performance.- There is no gifted curriculum, and very poor application of services for delayed students (however, if your child is a robot they will thrive here, especially if they are programmed to test well and complete hundreds of worksheets a year).- The PTA is run as a clique and charges $ for EVERY single one of its events. I have not heard of any exceptions for lower income families.- The teachers are inflexible and seem to have very little accountability.

I am deeply concerned about the lack of accountability regarding student behavior in the lower grades. In my observation, there is a troubling inconsistency in how the school defines 'citizenship.' It is disheartening to see students who use profanity and display aggressive gestures or physically push others still being recognized with school honors.When a school’s environment prioritizes academic metrics over basic character standards and safety, it sends the wrong message to young children. Profanity and physical aggression should be addressed with clear consequences, not overlooked. I hope the administration takes student conduct and social-emotional safety more seriously to ensure a truly respectful environment for all children.
