She enjoys each day, always has a lot to report, and is performing at or above all learning categories at this stage. We’re glad she’s also exposed to a much more diverse student population than she would be at other schools in the area, like Ivanhoe. She’s built close friendships with many children in her class and after school program. The after school program is super helpful with our work schedules and we’ve enrolled her in the magnet program for next year. "There is a halfway house on the corner of Descanso and Robinson. Some people are not aware of this, because both streets are beautiful. It does not belong in our community. It is unsafe and it is the one thing preventing our neighborhood from being the best it can be. The “residents” walk back and forth on Descanso, and I’ve been followed on 3 separate occasions and did not feel safe."
