Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from March 29, 2024
This is your last chance to buy 1 of 7 almost 20’ wide homes with 2-car driveway parking that solves for the living space to parking ratio problem found in ground-floor-garage homes. Designed by an architect for modern, convenient, comfortable living, this home offers a wide, open floor plan. This home is unique compared to the average rowhome in Philly because it’s almost 20’ wide. Upgrades include 42” tall cabinets, surround sound system that pipes your music from the basement to the primary suite, powder room and finished basement! New custom vanities in 2 of the bathrooms, and custom closet organizers. Details by room start with the first floor living/kitchen/dining room with custom built ins enhancing the entryway. The 12’ stone kitchen island seats 8 comfortably. Also, on the first floor you have an essential coat closet and 2 large pantries for all the kitchen storage in the world. Easily access your kitchen-aid mixer, air-fryer, rice cooker, crock pot, EVERYTHING you want and need, with none of it stored on your counter tops. Although you could because there’s plenty square footage and electrical outlets in the island and back splash. Downstairs you’ll find the finished basement that could be a spectacular home gym and is set up for surround sound. Upstairs the primary bedroom and ensuite bathroom plus 4 more of the 6 rooms have 16’ tall, vaulted ceilings & a total of 5 skylights for environmentally friendly daylighting. Ample closet space includes linen closets in the bathrooms and in the hall. The hall bath is spacious with that all-too-essential bathtub and the primary bathroom has a double walk-in shower. Outside the 1st floor in the back, find a lovely patio with planter boxes for gardening and space to grill, entertain and dine alfresco and in the front shrubs hide the trash can storage area. Outside in the front, the 2-car driveway doubles as a play area for the block where rollerblading and play pretend is a common activity for local youngsters. The “NOYO” (North of York) section of Fishtown is very convenient to I-95 which takes you quickly and easily to Center City, the Main Line, South Jersey, Washington DC, and NYC. Nearby amenities include 2 delicious gastro pubs and Circles + Squares Pizza within 100 feet from this home: Meeting House and Cook n' Shaker. Within a lively 20 minute, or less, walk, find all the amazing shops and eateries in Fishtown and River Wards Produce, and an IGA, and a CVS within .25 miles walking. Several coffee shops are nearby can be accessed by foot. Hello Donuts, Forin and Fiore are the closest. There are 3 subway stations nearby. Two of them are exactly .8 miles walk from the house. It takes about 10 minutes to drive, or 30 minutes to public transit to Center City.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a substitute teacher and have been to many schools in this district. This school is a free for all. At any given moment there are special needs students running the halls because there is no support for them. There is no security and a child could and has left the building without an adult being aware. The principal "encourages" the staff with negative comments leading to very low morale. I would send my kid to any other school and look into this one if my child was attending.Teacher Review4mo ago - Penn Treaty Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was hesitant to send my child at first... But after actually going to the school and meeting the teachers and staff I was confident my student would do well here. It's a wonderfully diverse environment. There is a focus on college preparation beginning in 9th grade. Penn treaty has many programs to support the students such as 12+, AVID, and city year. There are extra curricular activities and sports. This is a school on the rise. The staff and students are working hard to raise expectations.Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 2316 E Sergeant St.
