This school has been for a while now has been turning a blind eye to male teachers walking into the girls bathroom just to check if students are vaping. There has been multiple accounts of this at Woodinville and under any circumstances should that be okay unless it is a life threatening emergency, I personally have had this happen to me, Woodinville high school caused me to have severe anxiety due to how much people there was in a class, I only went there for a welding class because My main school was SAS. Due to how much stress it gave me I was alway in the bathroom with an upset stomach. Well one morning while I was in the bathroom (with an upset stomach) a couple girls came in to the bathroom while I was still over the toilet, after a bit a male teacher puts half of his body in and pulls everyone out including me, again I am still over the toilet clearly in pain. I tell him over and over that I need to go back because I am not feeling well explained that my teacher already knew where I was and what was happening because it was a bit of a routine in the morning. Im vividly upset about this and he says that I don’t need to have an attitude with him. I personally feel like it was justified for me to be upset that a male teacher decided to take that situation into his own hands instead of getting a female teacher to come in instead.

We switched over from a "prestigious" private school that was more about money and social status than education. We are so happy we made this switch to Bear Creek. The vision and philosophy is incredible as they recognize each child is an individual with different gifts and talents which they are quick to recognize and nurture even as early as preschool! The head of school is genuine, solid, good vision and the teachers have been AMAZING!! They really care about each child and maximizing each child's potential. The administration really listen to your concerns and try their best to make changes if it's possible and good for the overall school. My children who are each very different are thriving here. There truly is something for every child from very strong academics, sports, music, arts, drama...my kindergartener gets to play in an orchestra! (Now how many schools offer that?!?) I love the emphasis on lifetime character too. They really instill the love of learning and the process which is a lifetime value we believe is important for success in any arena. It's wonderful to be in a community that values every parent and child because we are each of great worth and can contribute!

I've never really known how lucky we are to be a part of this school until one of our children has gotten himself in a big trouble and the way the TMS leadership team has handled the situation. We have three kids currently attending TMS and we know that they are loved here.
